Is there really a need for this...angry_smile

Was about to write a glowing review for a lady I saw recently and plan on seeing her as often as possible, decided to check her profile page, and noticed a new review giving her very low scores. What I read made me very upset, I do not think she deserve it, this gentleman (it's a stretch) goes on to say:

"......I went to her and started kissing, she seemed reluctant at first which seemed odd since I'm a good looking dude."

He claims that he is "a good looking dude" by whom standard? Looks IS not everything, manners and behavior counts more, obviously he forced himself on her from his own account, and goes on to say:

"I realized that she looks much better with her clothes on..." is there really a need for that? Couldn't he say "her body type not what I like, or not my body type..." IMHO she has a great body.

and here were I got ticked-off, he writes:

"......I'm not sure what others see in [name] and why she is getting 8's and 9's. If you can't get it anywhere else and desperate, I see how [name] can be an 8, but if you are an average hobbyist, don't know what's great about this girl...to each his own though." Who the [expletive] thinks he is! Obviously this [expletive] thinks he is better than me, and that I/we are desperate.

Personally I found her very attractive (would rate looks 8) with a little makeup could easily be a 9. She has a great body not hard and not too soft, and maybe a little baby fat, just the way I like. Performance wise, a solid 10, that what will be my rating, and a great personality once she gets to know you.

Sorry about the ranting, I had to vent. I really like her, we had a great time together.

Or a jealous bf who hacked into TER, and wrote it, or well you get the idea. You never know. One bad review will not hurt a lady, especially if she has strong reviews by experienced reviewers. Move on forget about it

Assuming as you imply she has a series of good reviews and then one off-tilt review it could be any of several things:

--He didn't do his homework and wound up with someone who isn't his type so he blames her

--She had a bad night, it happens to the best of providers

--It's a fake review and he gets his enjoyment from ripping other people

--The reviewer (male or female) is the "competition" and is intentionally out to damage her business

--It's personal; an ex-SO, a jilted client she wouldn't see again, etc.

And I've missed some no doubt.

That's why I never go by one review good or bad.

It could be a totally honest review. You seem to take offence that b/c you had a great time, and so did apparently some others, no negative review should be allowed.

If there is just one bad mixed in with several goods, I'd expect most seasoned hobbyists would put it on the reviewer and not on the provider. OTOH, if he has lots of other positive reviews, and this one is a rare negative for him, then why should it be discounted?

Unless there is more that you left out, I don't see where you get the idea that "obviously he forced himself on her". Just because she was "reluctant at first"? Maybe she withdrew initially. Then he tried again and she was more responsive. Doesn't mean he "forced himself on her" at all.

You had a good time. Write a positive review. Unless you KNOW any others to be fake, let it go and concentrate on how much you enjoyed the session. But from your ending declaration that you "really like her" I sure hope that means strictly as a client. Don't let it get into your head that she likes you for anything other than a cash acquaintance.

Anybody who researches intelligently via reviews knows that anyone can have a bad night, or that not every pair clicks.

A single or rare low score means very little, although I see yellow flags when I see a pattern like 6, 9, 9, 9, 5, 9, 10, 10, 9, 4, 9. I read it as likely that I'll have a great date, but a chance that she'll be "off" for my turn: YMMV.

I wouldn't sweat this minor issue with the gal, and I certainly recommend against taking a white knight attitude and getting bent over it. After all, you weren't there - you don't know the situation. I also advise against taking one side's word - just enjoy what you get with the lady, and pity the poor guy that didn't. I've been in those shoes, unfortunately - I suggest you leave him be and move on.

But you know where my problem lies.

I was told a long time ago, by a wiser man than you or I, that there are 3 sides to a story.

Your's, their's, and the truth.

But when a 'single review' can make or break a lady's rep, oh yeah, I have a problem.

Of course, I'm saying 'you' in general, and not 'you' specifically... ;)

The guy's entitled to his opinion. Could he have been a little more diplomatic about it? Absolutely. But perhaps he had very high hopes based on all those previous high scores and was really disappointed. Or maybe he's just a difficult guy to please.

Either way, he's insulting her, not you. I wouldn't take offense. If the situation was reversed, and a provider you didn't feel satisfied with received high scores from somebody else, would you think that she must've been holding back with you? Of course not, so don't let this bother you either. Different people have different needs. Different people are going to click differently. The reviewer can't seem to grasp that. Don't make his mistake.

but MP67 could gain some perspective from it as well. He certainly suffers from the same disease.

MP; When you PM'd me a while back and demanded that I never PM you or post under you, I figured it was a mutual thing. Asking me to sit like a duck while you take pot shots at me is a different thing - Pardon me while I break your request.

No. I don't really understand. I know you're friends with a gal that doesn't like me, though I have nothing against her. Is it my review that bothers you? It was a fair assessment.

I have nothing against your friend. I understood when I wrote my review that it would hurt my TER reputation more than her business. But I've passed on writing low score reviews in the past and others were hurt by it. I felt an obligation to the hobby.

Why not focus on the ladies we both know that don't have an issue with either of us to temper things a bit. We have some highly respected and trusted friends in common that haven't been unintentional drama in our lives.

Your bringing this issue up only continues to put a bad light on everyone involved. My friend, we all have bad days now and then, and we don't all "dig each other", to coin your term. I accepted that. Yours or her problem with me is pretty small stuff to justify shining a light on it.

It does neither of us any good. Folks will be researching this issue now, which only makes it worse.

Do us a favor and at least just leave me alone.

Call me a fucking drunk all you want. But I have legitimate concerns about certain people.

I care. So fucking what? Moderate or ban my ass. I don't give a fuck.

Won't change my mind.

I guess my problem here, other than being a belligerent alcy, was that these ladies are more than a piece of meat.

My fucking bad!

Guess I'm alone in my thinking. That's cool. Usually always was.

Peace, fucker!

You can care... hell care all you want, but you should also care about others on this board who get tired of your drunken posting of fuck prose.

"Peace, fucker!"

...give sub par reviews to my lady & badger the fuck out of them until they raise her score to it's appropriate # as instructed by my prom date.

My advice to you is to  do the same.

and I agree with you, you make good points. I am certainly not trying to be a white knight, that's why I posted under an alias, and did not reveal the provider's profile or his review.

I've had my fair share of bad encounters, but I do not insult her clients or make rude remarks. I guess the rest of her reviews speak for themselves.

The alias. Really?

And stop crying over HER reviews.
If you want to make yourself feel better, book a session and give her an extra big tip.

when I first saw them I was absolutely horrified...seriously my day was ruined lol...but then I reflected on the sessions...the sex was all but average...pretty lame in fact...ya know, the kind where you thank gawd for your peripheral vision so you can see the clock and know it is almost over...one of them came in and immediately asked if he could stay for an additional 30 minutes...then gave me a 6 in looks?!?!?!? hmmmm keep in mind that many reviews are from men who NEED to feel better about themselves...the "dude" may have in fact been good looking...but even the best looking people in the world have insecurities...those insecurities will occasionally dribble out into a review...not everyone knows how to be tactful...maybe I will start a review site where we can review the men we see...I am lucky to have MOSTLY great guys...but some men really do need a comeuppance :-)

And let the lady herself worry about what others have written.  You where not in the room with the guy so you don't really know what happened. He could very well be a jerk but she could also have been having a bad day.  If she has a body of generally good reviews one questionable review is not going to be the end of the world. It also could be a fake review. The system is not perfect.

Your best bet is to get over it, and I'd suggest doing so with the first provider on your bucket list.  If you would prefer to get involved, send her a message letting her know that she got a crappy review.  Beyond that, there's no need to ride in on your steed.  If she's got good reviews, this too shall pass.

My suggestion is to just marry the girl and save her from all these evil men who don't appreciate her.

Jesus Fucking H Christ man, where the fuck do you get off anyhow? There are a lot of women who look much better with their clothes on, I happen to appriciate an honest reviewer who will let the rest of us know, instead of some white knight who is afraid of "hurting her feelings" or in this case apparently hurting yours.

Come back when you grow a pair.

Hmmmm, did I just say all that out loud? oh well, fuck it. I'll just Blame_it_on_Tourettes. roflmfao

Oh yeah, you mention where you believe he thinks he's better than you, Well maybe he is? Are you desperate? You sure sound that way.

GMaximus126 reads

obviously not a gentleman, it is people like you and your attitude that makes it hard for the rest of us.

and oh yeah, one more thing. UP YOURS!

Ops did I say that loud? Oh well, Blame it on Tourettes! MORON. lmao

Whether or not I am a "gentleman" is completely irrelevant. I am not the one getting all bent out of shape because some stranger isn't all head over heels in love with some woman you paid for sex.

The other reviewer has a right to his opinion, and I bet he is not losing any sleep because some loser is upset that he didn't find some hooker to be particularly attractive.

My money say she probably is a six, and you just don't get enough pussy to be able to tell the difference. There is a lot bigger problem of hobbyist overrating providers than there is underrating. If your beloved is worth the ratings you gave her, she will survive. If not that will eventually come out as well, then you can have her all to yourself.

You are still a fucking wuss IMO, but you have a lot of company around here. Maybe the Love Goddess can set you straight about falling for prostitutes?

No you go ahead and feel free to call me a bunch of bad names, at the end of the day you'll still be a besmittened wuss, sniveling because some bully said something bad about "your" girl.

GMaximus93 reads

This just proves you do not know what you are talking about moron. No one said that I was in love with her, definitely not me, and surely not trying to be a white knight. Read my [expletive] posts, but I guess it is beyond your comprehension.

I bet you are the kind of a man [a stretch] who would take his anger and frustrations on a helpless young lady, because in your real life you are a coward. You use disparaging [a big word for you] words to describe a provider, does that make you feel like a real man? Obviously you are the one who have issues. Get a life moron; move on and let the adults have a civil exchange without you sticking your arse in the middle.

Except maybe when I referred to her as "your girl", yes I can see how that would not be complimentery, seeing what a poor excuse for a man you are. lmao Oh wait, I reread my posts and I did call her a "hooker", I am so fucking sorry for that, but compared to "Your girl", I am sure that she would prefer the term hooker.

No I saved all my disparaging remarks for you, I have no idea about the woman you are defending, but

You are falling all over yourself, even so far as to lament that "he felt like he was better than you", to defend some woman who is getting paid (and probably not enough) to fuck you.

You undoubtably have no idea how pitiful you sound.

and yes I did read your pitiful excuses for posts, and found them, and you laughable. You are probably more deserving of pity than ridicule, but I am all out of pity, so ridicule is all I have for you. lmao

GMaximus95 reads

I feel pity for you, I think NOT. You sir are funny, lol, and I would like to... but wait, you are not worth the effort, and I have places to go, things to do, I have a life, I suggest you find one. oh, did I hurt your feelings? I apologize. lmaoamhot

If most of her scores are high..who cares.
and how much lower is he rating her?

In the case you describe I think most guys would read between the lines and not take it so serious.

I'd forget about it.
