I like doggie style standing up, just like a normal dog would.

What about bending her over a table, so you are upright but at a angle or over a massage table lol

Often I meet a provider that expresses a preference for Doggy style. I like all the positions so I don't mind.  However I need some work on my Doggy abilities.

Doggy style usually poses challenges with balancing and angles, but I recently had an amazing experience doing Doggy with a provider on a couch. She was on her elbows and had her chin rested on the armrest. I was able to lean over about 30 degrees from vertical with my arms outstretched and palms resting on the armrest.

This was the perfect angle for me and I felt like I could last as long or as short as I desired. I was also able to explore and massage her with the occasionally free hand. My partner got into it too, and it certainly resulted in a great ending. I had another experience with a provider who was hanging off the edge of the bed (legs on the bed) while I was able to rest my palms on a nearby piece of furniture =), the similar angle (albeit a rotated frame of reference) led to another great experience.

If I am doing doggy-style on a bed then my only option is to be perfectly upright which makes me feel too detached, while the thrusting throws off the balance a little. If I lean over, resting my palms on the bed, then the angle for insertion becomes awkward and I slip out---resting my palms on the bed makes me lean over too much.

Providers, do you find a general preference for Doggy? If you were in a session and your client was not doing doggy well (vis-a-vis my last description), what do you wish you could advise him?

For the upright position on the bed, I have so far found that starting of slow helps ... but not much other progress.

If you try all sorts of variations with the lady on her knees on the bed and you standing on the floor with one foot up or both feet on the floor, or partly leaned partly lunged, there are all sorts of angles and positions that can be accomplished.  Also, the lady can be on both knees, or on one with a leg out, on her side with a leg up and so on and so on.  The positions are endless if you have a creative partner.  Also, she could do have doggie and have a stack of pillows under her hips and you can sort of be laying on her back with a semi push-up......  Leaning on the chair or padded bench type furniture and slightly turned to kiss and be intimate can be really fun too.  
sigh....oh doggie is one of my favorites, along with cowgirl, missionary, and.. well.. I guess I like most of them.  ha ha

Have her put her feet together at a point between your legs when you take her from behind, and have her reach back with her hands grasp them with yours, lean back in the saddle.......and have at it.

It's all about creating a fulcrum, this makes it like a see-saw!

I like it when they are in a normal dog position but are on the edge of the bed so I can stand normally. If the bed is a little tall, they can spread their knees further apart to get lower or if the bed is too low, she can put her knees closer together or even go into a lazy dog position to create a better angle.

I feel like this provides the most balance for me because I'm standing and provides for better thrusting. With this position, I can also easily bend/reach over and explore her body while still still thrusting.

I love it, my butt looks good in it but lol if on the bed doesn't work I'll stand up and try or go for the chair, I like a kinda sideways almost scissor position, you can do wonders with mish too, etc. I've met my share where doing doggy in certain ways anyhow didn't work work them

Doggy seems to be a favorite of many ladies.  It is one of my most difficult positions as my legs are short.  Add to this the bed moving and it is hard to work this position, heck without falling forward.  lazy dog is a great option as in reverse cowgirl sitting in a chair or couch.  Standing up is an option.  What a problem to try and work out.............a lot of fun trying to figure it out.
