Unless I'm misunderstanding the link below, it seems HIV is a possibility too.
then there is no problem. Has she had her distemper and rabies shots? Was she still wearing her flea collar? These are just some of the concerns that you might worry about.
There actually was guy in the Chicago obituaries today with the last name of Foody. Any relative of yours? If so, my condolences. Perhaps he died from a BBBJ.
....a lady "sucking the life out of you"
Might be a long lost relative. When my great grandfather Foody came through Ellis Island, his son, my grandfather was named by the authorities Foodys'guy. We shortened it to Foodyguy, as it was too difficult for Americans to spell correctly.
We have been separated from the old Foody family due to a dinner table fight. To this day nobody remembers who through the first handful of mashed potatoes. We believe the original Foody family moved to Chicago as they loved deep dish pizza. The Foodyguy clan loved seafood and stayed in the East.
Thanks for thinking of me and have a slice of pizza in honor of the dead.
Is there an element of risk? sure.
Is it dangerous? No.
O.
That's what I meant: an element of risk. What are the risks of contracting an STD or any other disease.
over the last two years your worrying about this now??? A little late in the game don't you think?? don't worry, be happy!!!
If there a risk, it is better to change my behavior now, rather than never.
If you are worried get out of the hobby and pic a chick up in a bar.
-he was asking a genuine question- geez! ![]()
It has been discussed in the past, but there are some risks of stds similar to any other uncovered sex act, and if you are uncomfortable consider requesting a cover- most ladies are happy to oblige, or you could even see ladies who consistently use covers for all bjs and other fun. Best to protect yourself if you are at all concerned, although do know that most providers test regularly and the risk is minimal but does exist. Best of luck!!
XoXo,
Marea
your chances of contracting something from a civvie are far greater.....If you fish around on CL ..higher risk!!!
Before anybody in the BBBJ camp jumps down my throat - I'll attach a link.
No, you can't get HIV....but they are high risk (many with a 3% or greater transference) for 5 other diseases. Sure...and antibiotic will take care of most of them....but you should be educated on the matter, and know you run a real and substancial risk of contracting these often asymptomatic diseases.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the link below, it seems HIV is a possibility too.
It's better to be safe than sorry. I actually have a friend who works for health clinic in the downtown area of where I live, and she tells me all the time of infections that people come in with, and I have to admit, it does gross you out.
Everyone should educate yourself, and don't always assume that that person who you are sleeping with (whether a civie/provider) is "clean", and it's okay to take a risk. Remember, you come first, and always ask alot of questions, and also take responsibility for your own actions.
Play safe! ![]()
Well lets see...you get a BBBJ from a provider, by lordy all mighty, she has the possibility of giving YOU a disease. You get a BBBJ from a chick you pick up at the bar, and lordy all mighty, ....yeah, same thing.
If you people are so freankin scared of catching a disease, find a new hobby. The providers HERE that service YOU are more apt to be DRUG and DISEASE free than 99.9% of the chics you "get that lap dance" from or the ones you take home from a bar.
THIS is OUR business. OUR meal ticket. OUR way of paying the bills. You freak out....? Go to the next one and find one you feel comfortable with. Quit whining about "omg, you can catch THAT from a BBBJ" syndrome.....seriously!
my previous post.. More likely from an unknown civie than a top tier provider ... Now if you bottom feed with some of the CL girls.. or SW obviously the risk is greater... The professional ladies take the business seriously and take good care of their enterprise..their body!!!
The question is legitimate, as is the concern.
If you get chlamydia you lose a week of income. If he takes it home, it is likely life-changing.
Stay covered and still continue to hobby ![]()
I have had sex (some unprotected in the good old days - pre 1980) with about 150 providers, and have never gotten any disease from them.
On the other hand, back in the '70's, I had a handful of civie girlfriends and got STD's three times (clap, crabs and NSU).
Draw your own conclusions. I did.
Sassy is right in speaking about this being their profession, and I would expect the good ones to be well informed and very safety conscious. I also understand that it must be difficult for the ladies that so many of the newbies appear to think of them as walking petrie dished incubating God-knows-what. But,
It is normal and expected for new guys (especially married ones) to have a certain amount of angst over the subject. Even if they read the links that list the possibilities with given actions, they still want to be reassured by people who have been in the hobby longer that even though something is possible, it rarely happens in real life. THAT is why the question keeps being posted on the Newbie board, they want to be reassured, given permission to go ahead and do what they want. Imagine how depressing it might be to post the question (in a very non judgemental way), looking for the reassurance, only to be blasted by the very object of our desires.
Now me? Given the slightest encouragement I'd happily DATY 'till my tongue goes numb, LOL
and go from there. Then, don't worry about it. If you're not confortable with BBBJ are you still going to do DATY? That's a valid question. Are you going to give up DFK? Remember, abstinence is the only thing that is 100% safe.
I never cover for Bj's........I enjoy them too damned much...........but ALL else cover cover cover

If she were to have a seizure she might bite your dick off! LOL
Here's a post that I have made that provides comprehensive information about risks associated with hobbying.
