Has anybody found an app or a slick way to hide your hobby numbers and SMS on the iphone form your SO. Having another phone is a no go. Switching a sim card seems too obvious and obtrusive. Don't want to jailbreak the phone but two profiles would be ideal.
On the laptop I have a separate profile that is password protected so I don't have to worry about erasing history from browser. It's very easy and decently protected. Anyway to do something similar on the iPhone 5?

For calls and SMS I like "Burner", also on the app store and on Android. It makes virtual phones that are burners just like the hardware ones. You can pick the area code.

they are all for Enterprise. The technical problem is in order secure your messages, bot parties need to have the same application otherwise you can send them but the receiving party would not be able to read it.

You can password protect your phone, disable banner alerts in settings which will not show the messages or # of messages when the phone is locked. You can also set up a different email account and disable push and auto notification this can be done in settings.

Other than that, you don’t have a lot of choice other than setting up your email server and sending everyone you contact the application you are using
