It's interesting to me that only about half of the P411 providers I schedule time with ever look at my profile. Why is that?

Are most of the profiles insufficiently detailed, BS, non-existent, or in some other way worthless?
Do you not want to dread the date with the old, ugly, fat guy before it happens?
Do you simply not care at all about what is or isn't in someone's profile?

You providers are curious beings. Please, enlighten me.

personally, I check his profile immediately to see what he has written, if anything, some are very vague. Would be a nice surprise if some of you would put a photo in all honesty as it is an option on their site. Just my .02 cents.  

Ohhhh, but what does lil ol me know anyhoo. Apparently nothing ;)

To fill out the profile and add some comments of their own. I imagine, sometimes it might prevent a meeting. But those appointments that do get set,  I would imagine they go quite well.  

And it is a form of screening, more so to see if there is a compatibility or that I can provide what he needs.

For example- there have been a few times when I looked at someone's profile, but the appointment didn't work out for some reason. When they would contact me again in the future, I would look at their profile a second time to refresh my memory. I also like to periodically review my OKs on D-C to make sure that people I saw a few years back haven't suddenly decided to go rogue.

I've had P411 guys send me smarmy, self-satisfied messages: "I saw you checked out my profile... blah. blah."

It's P411, NOT Match.com, you dork! So stop acting like I'm freaking hitting on you when I look at the profile that YOU sent ME. Grrr.

But I'm sure none of the charming gentlemen posters on THIS board would ever do irritating stuff like THAT! ;)

I feel safer when a Provider views my profile.
I also feel she is playing more safely.

It also has under hobbyist profile his likes and dislikes
and that is more professional when they want to know some details.

The "I saw you checked out my profile" PM is unnecessary but
I guess some of us are "Dorks" LOL

They don't alert you on Date-Check, but if you go to the site you'll see who has viewed your profile on your home page.

As if its not creepy when hookers stalk guys by checking their profile repeatedly to see who they've seen instead of them? Give me a break.

You may not be able to pinpoint to 100% exactness if the guy contacting you is a "hobbyist" or not but I think you can discern arrogance, a sense of entitlement, rudeness, condescension and a general disdain of women from a few emails.  

Oh and if he mentions he is a hot shot reviewer or he gives you his handle and says look me up, I think you'd be safe in assuming that guy is a hobbyist.

Now, whether the guy in question hangs on a board or not is immaterial. What matters is that he gets avoided. So I agree with CPA, an a$$hole is an a$$hole no matter where they hang.

The reality is so few mongers post on boards...as well as hookers.

Less than 5% of the gals I know (either intimately or platonically) post anywhere.  Same for the mongers...except I don't know them intimately  LOL

I have always found email as a good way to determine if a gal is organized.  And if she is...then I can move from there.  Rarely have I been disappointed.  I hear from many gals the same type of screening is how they move forward as well.

Assholes usually give themselves away almost immediately.  On both sides of this coin.

Using your example, I think that if you make a point of letting the provider know you're looking for a gentle GFE session through email/phone it shouldn't be a problem. I advertise as a kinky provider but still have requests for vanilla sessions from time to time and am happy to accommodate.

What we do can be risky, first of all. Reviews can also very telling in terms of how he treats/speaks of/respects women. If a guy writes reviews and they are insulting or objectifying, I won't see him.  

Mostly though, I just like to see what people are into! I always tell guys to be forthcoming and not shy about telling me what turns them on but sometimes I've gotta do my research!
