I confess to being one of those delusional sods that is sometimes compelled to set a date with an unknown, unrated provider based on the hope that there may be something there.  My experiences have run a complete spectrum from really positive to “throw-up in my own mouth.”  I’ve had the experience of turning two separate providers away at my hotel door in one day when neither was anywhere near the girl pictured.  A few times, I’ve paid a nominal amount for their “trouble” (probably shouldn’t have for the two mentioned.)  Once, I did not but probably should have.  (She was the girl pictured, but did not present as well as hoped for from her pictures.)  The last one I set up was an incall to a hotel, and I went with a half-formed plan to simply turn around and bolt from her door if she didn’t present as expected.  I was half way from doing so but didn’t, and this one turned out to be a mixed bag, for reasons I’ve already shared.

So, I am curious as to how other TOFTT hobbyists approach these situations.   What are others’ strategies for incall vs. outcall situations?  How much variation from ad-pictures to in-your-face reality will you allow?  For instance, would you bolt if the provider wasn’t made up as nicely as in her ads or had significantly more weight?  I’ve never picked up a provider on the street or bar-scene, but I can definitely see the advantage.  At least in those situations, it’s more “what you see is what your get” than “buyer beware”.

I would as always do my homework. What I look for are other ads from the provider which has different pics, some professional, and non professional. To get a good idea of what the provider looks like at different angles, positions, and lighting.

I've never gone to see a provider isn't reviewed, and only has a few pictures, and only uses those few pics in all her ads'. That scream B&S to me.

The few times I did TOFTT, only one was worth seeing again, and she has since gone on to become  well reviewed by many hobbyists in the BWI and other areas.

Keep your expectations low (very low), your car running but locked in the parking lot, a good excuse to leave in a hurry in your mind, a few bucks in your hand to toss just in case, be ready to loose your money if she has a boyfriend hiding in the closet, and make sure that you have running shoes on your feet.  Good luck, I'm done with TOFTT.  I'm too old for that shit!

I did one recently.  No reviews but she'd done a little porn.  Since she was an agency girl and I was known to the owner she assured me the gal looked just like her pix and was really nice.  I had a great time and was happy to write her an excellent first review here.  I will see her again soon.  Not sure when I'll TOFTT again, as I plan to be very selective.  But this is one area where going the agency route can be a good way to TOFTT, as long as you know the agency well.  Lots of these girls then go indy.

A true fucking TOFTT is seeing a girl with no fucking reviews, no one vouches for her, and she may or may not look to fucking good to be true!

Just because she works for an agency he knows? Shit. If inicky saw a girl with no reviews, and didn't do one, but recommended her to me and I wrote one, what's the fucking difference? All these ladies had to start out somehow. I'd be willing to bet for the most part some lady's first reviewer knew someone she fucked before and vouched for her.

I deeply appologize for not reaching your high standards for TOFTT.  How many times have you done it?  Hard to know, since you have no reviews. At least I was honest enough to explain exactly what the circumstances were.  If you don't like it, fine, shit all over it. The point is, there are ways to do it and minimize the risk.  You are welcome to all the TOFTT-BP girls you want.  Let's see some reviews, stud.  There are none next to your handle.  Until there are, you have no credibility with your complaints.

Oh, I don't know, my impression of TOFTT would be going in naked, no tips, no vouching, no nothing, just seeing her and making an appointment. It has been years now but the last one I saw that could be considered TOFTT was out of a print ad and she came to my condo. Totally blind. It worked out well but it was certainly no GFE. Hell, I don't think there was such a thingg  as GFE then.

And, hey, I wasn't applying for extra TOFFT points for my "exploit," just showing another example that worked and didn't appreciate the douchebag above getting his panties in a bunch about it.

Actually FYI that particular poster is a reinvented poster using a new name. In the past he was known as kind of a little pussy with no guts and no credibility, apparently he thinks he can reinvent  himself as a "toughguy" and thinks that using the word "fuck" almost as often as MP67 and using grammar as bad as liorr, somehow makes him appear "tough".

I think that you will find fewer and fewer of his posts actually making it to the board as my dumber, and much less patient brother stops allowing his mindless drivel to reach the board.

have done more than my share.  Just did one the other day.  I was half expecting a rob or a setup but found it justified in my mind that it was worth the risk.   I will generaly watch for a couple weeks do tin eye watch for local LE stings.  Leave everything but the envelope and the throw away phone locked in the car.  I have not had to bolt yet But I realize I have been lucky.  Without TOFTT where would we get any new blood?

Even if the lady has a few reviews you might still be taking one for the team. There have been so many ladies getting a couple not so reliable reviews. It may take 4-5 legit reviews for a lady before she is no longer considered a TOFTT. So even if she has been recommended by someone you trust it is still taking one. If you FEEL like your TOFTT with an unproven provider then you are.

Well, I don't really claim to have TOFTT, I was just young and all horned up so I did the only reasonable thing at the time- I had recently gotten back from TJ and it didn't cross my mind that she would be anything but legit.
