I get a lot of terms of endearment in messages from providers, but far and away "babe" is the most popular. I'd say they pick it easily 90% of the time.
Is this true for anyone else? What pet names do you get?

I like using babe. It means we care. Calling you by the first name is just to proper. I mean we can do that but what fun would that be. It's much nicer saying, Hey babe how are you doing? Or baby, doll, sweetie, etc. I think it's just overall a nice gesture.
I had one woman go from calling me "babe" to "pumpkin". I'm neither round nor orange, but I thought the shift was cute. On the other hand, maybe "pumpkin" is code for stupid dork!
My favorite is actually when I get called by my name or some variation on my handle. It's unexpected. Babe and sweetie are most common. Regardless of what she calls me (or herself) the name, all names go out the window BCD once the small talk stops.
I use terms like doll, sweetie, hun, honey, and baby. I think it is a nice gesture to say Hey babe as a opposed to the name of the person. Just seems sweet when your thinking of the guy you see and use nice names.
