For my part, the biggest single limiting factor in my hobbying is the hassle of getting preapproval for each new provider.

My guess is that my frequency of participation would increase several hundred percent if there were a way to schedule that didn't require a major merry-go-round of emails, requests of previous providers to provide references, waiting for responses, telephone tag.

I have thought about using agencies but seem to feel that any info provided is safer with well reviewed independents.

So for me the limiting factor is not money, opportunity or desire its very definitely the degree of difficulty in getting to "go".

I don't mind the screening/verification process- It was the most intimidating thing the first couple times, but the third time and the dates I'm setting up now, I had gotten the "hang of it" and have found that if I just offer the info right up front with no hesitancy, the process goes quickly and easily.  For me it is kind of fun to see how fast I can make it happen just by being maximally cooperative.

While our security of info is most important to us, the ladies personal safety is involved- so I just roll with it.

I never found getting approved that difficult. However, I have a rule ... I don't use email to try set appointments.

If I can't call the lady up ... I won't go see her. My initial experiences with emailing providers (not all but many) were dismal. There are many ladies who will return your calls in a reasonable amount of time and if you have a few good references and/or are a member of Preferred 411 (or similar approval entity) the process at least for me has been reasonably painless.

Don't discount the Agencies they can be a great source for a quick appointment if the opportunity arises.

I have never had a problem with the screening process. I recognize that the provider is inviting a complete stranger into her home/hotel, and will make herself completely vulnerable to him during the session. SHE MUST FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS GENTLEMAN. I just do not believe there is a short cut to be taken here.

Yes, at times it may seem like a hassle but you just have to deal with it. The E-mails, phone calls, work verification, provider references or whatever other information a provider feels is needed is all part of the process. She must be satisfied with who the client really is. As a hobbyist, if you are not comfortable giving a provider the requested information, WHY SHOULD SHE BE COMFORTABLE INVITING YOU TO SPEND TIME WITH HER? I have always given a provider whatever information she requests. If I cant provide the lady with what she asks for, then she shouldnt see me.    

I would rather have a provider "over screen" me then not care who I am in the slightest and simply invite me to her hotel 30 minutes after my initial phone call. I'd be much more concerned (i.e. LE trap, total rip off, etc.) over this latter situation.

The more you hobby and understand the process, I think you will find that the screening is really not that intrusive. It is an essential part of the hobby that should NEVER be compromised because the safety and comfort of the provider and hobbyist depend on it. If you cant provide the information to a provider then you should seek someone else who is comfortable with the information you wish to give.

Your point is well taken, but the problem is each provider is an independent contractor who has her own set of rules/verification procedures. Each lady requires different levels of information before they are comfortable. You would never get all providers to agree over what is the right amount of information to accept. So yes, I am afraid we all have to start over with each lady because giving verification to provider A is going to do you no good with provider B.

What you are in some way suggesting is a universal system where by hobbyists can give their pertinent information to a general database and all providers could simply search that database to verify their clients....Given the legal nature of the hobby, this is not happening anytime soon. And as you stated, you wouldnt want your information as a matter of public record.

And if gentlemen that were members of one or more of these verification services would actually include their membership info or ID number in the first email or on the first phone call, things would move a lot quicker.

What takes the longest is waiting on references from the other ladies. Sometimes they are out of town or just not working the day you want to see someone else and it takes 24+ hrs to hear back, by which time your window of opportunity has closed. Sometimes, I never get a response back. Some ladies just don't give references.

Preferred411 and Date-Check let the lady check instantly, RS2K takes a little longer but if you inquire about an appointment during "normal business hours" I tend to have a response within the hour. They are definitely my preferred method of screening.

I LOVE this site! First of all you don't have to give any private information other than the name you want to use (it could be just a nick-name if you like)and your email address that you use for the hobby. Then you click on the ladies that you've seen. They get an email asking if they want to verify you. They then verify you just that one time.
Then you are set. From then on when you write to make an appointment you either give your date-check ID# or just say that you are a member of date-check and I can look it up by your email addy. I then get to see all of the ladies that you have seen and what they had to say about you. They don't give details, just "highly recommends" or whatever option they chose. if I have a question about an entry I can write to the lady and ask her questions. If i see that 4 or 5 ladies have given you the thumbs up then your screening is finished. And after our date I will go back to the site and give you another reference.
This is the most user friendly site out of all of them.

RS2K and Preferred411 do more extensive screening so I therefore feel safer seeing those men.

To me a provider that requires any contact to be via email is hiding something from me that she does not want me to find out, or is just someone who is not versed in the fine art of socialization.

Now there are women who say that they are great in the bedroom, but could not be bothered with making and receiving phone calls.  To me though a provider that will not accept a phone call (perhaps after one email round), is someone that I will not see either.

As to submitting to screening, I have "failed" screening with any woman, because I know what to say when asked, and I seem to put providers "at ease" when I am on the phone with them.  The only ones that have I have seen after talking on the phone are the ones that I rejected for whatever reason.  To me if they sound rushed on the phone, or have a major attitude, They probably cannot turn that off while in a session.

It wouldn't affect me at all, because  money is my most limiting factor in the amount I hobby. The second most limiting factor for me is distance. I have about a 2.5 - 3 hour drive to the closest city that has providers.

Screening doesn't bother me, nor does it effect my hobbying frequency at all. There are providers that IMHO go overboard with screening and I choose not to see those particular ladies, but ai am lucky to live in Atlanta where we have literally hundreds of ladies to choose from, several dozen of which already know me and sreeening is unneccessary.

Not much more than now, I usually don't find the screening process difficult unless she asks for something out of the ordinary. I get the feeling that half the time I the info I give doesn't get validated, it's a combo of that you were able to provide a reference and that you conducted yourself in appropriate manner. I even was able to make a same day 2 hour in advance appt with someone new that normally screens only because she said she could sense over the phone with the conversation we had that I've done it before.

It's more a matter of money for me.  Preapproval is a pain in the ass, but it's not the end of the world.  I'm not sure why people are worried about their information ending up in a "database somewhere."  If the lady gets busted, what do you think are the odds of the cops tracking down all of her former customers too?  And how could a prosecutor connect information in a database to a crime?  It's a stretch.

I have been working in England and Ireland most of this past spring, summer and fall.

Here, law enforcement pays no attention to independent providers and their clients. Since there is no danger of a "bust" appointments are made even very last minute. Their attitude is that what happens behind closed doors between two consenting adults is no business but their own.

Personally, I won't make an appointment via a text message. It's too impersonal. I want to be able to do my own screening speaking with the potential new friend. The voice tells alot. Also the manner of communication.

Yes, it makes things very easy for YOU if this type of environment exists. You can suddenly be taken horny and all you do is pick up the phone and call Anneke. IF I have time in my schedule and I like the way you speak to me I'll say, sure Honey, come on over. However, here is what happens on MY side of things with that possibility available to you.

Timewasters galore! Since they've given little information they have NO compunction about not showing up, nor do they call. In Ireland the hobby is still a relatively new phenomenom and you get a lot of newbies calling to "get off" talking to the escort. Of course, that phone call ends immediately for me. I still require a phone number, name, some info about them personally but that never guarantees that they'll show up. Most of them are amazed that I ask for even that much.

Or, you get the mysogynist who is "getting even" with the escort. You'd be amazed how often this happens. Then, there's always the first timer who gets cold feet and doesn't have the courtesy to call. I haven't even mentioned those who are gentlemen who do call and say "Anneke, I just can't make it." That I appreciate of course and there is enough business that I can usually reschedule someone else.

It happens every day here. And, the agencies, who are worried that the good independents are going to cut into their business do it too, puposely blocking your time for legitimate customers. You wouldn't believe how slick there are at this. Even giving their phone numbers and they seem to have a whole bank of them. Now I have them listed IN my phone as "No Show Paul, No Show Patrick", etc.

So, guys, as a businesswoman, I prefer the info and the screening that you must give. I have much better odds that you are going to actually walk through my door. And, the biggest reason for me to require all that info is because I don't look good in prison orange. It's a tossup isn't it? No worry about "you know who" but lots of worry about whether your client is even going to show up.

Just my take on what happens when it's "easy" to make an appointment. It's great for you but it's frustrating as hell for me. Some of the girls in Ireland are now beginning to require a reference to make an appointment. Way to go girls and I'll probably be right there with you my next tour the beginning of December.

I can't wait to get home. I leave this Monday the 15th to return to Tampa and my own pillow, bed and my American boyfriends. I look forward to seeing you then.
