wence the saying:  "Familiarity breeds contempt."

Thus I find it best to never overdo it.  Seeing someone once every few months proves the corolary:

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

Arguments can be a means of one, or the other, to control emotional distance in the relationship. Or, one or the other of you find make up sex even more stimulating that what you have going on now. ;)

You find yourself enjoying this provider's company and the rendezvous are hot, hot, hot. Have you found yourself or her starting unnecessary debates or nagging one another?  Stirring up discussions which can cause tension in the one situation that you once looked so forward to?

it just depends on whether communications are clear. little disagreements are certainly possible. with clear communication misunderstandings can be overcome.

as long as both parties are kind, mature, humane, respectful and not "psycho", as long as both treat each other as people and not commodities, small troubles can be resolved quickly and satisfactorily. it also may be good to take a "time out" or a vacation.

there are a few ladies i knew would be favorites from the first. one i haven't reviewed. almost all remain on excellent terms. so in my experience sustaining a relationship with a favorite is more likely than not.

This worked well for of a long-term ATF and me. Whenever an issue arose, we kept it out of the session. We would take how ever much time and energy and emotion it took to settle the problem, even if that meant postponing a session. The session is meant to be a P4P fantasy. The bullshit should be left at the door.

And I meant Old man as a complement that reflects your wit, knowledge, and wiseness.

Would like to hear your story on how you managed to go 10 years ...wonderfully... with the same ATF?
