I am sitting here at home, quietly catching my breath from a year of too much travel and too many days on the road.  I’ve finished cooking for the mob that will be coming over tomorrow, and I have one of the few “relaxing” moments to think about the things that get me through the year.  Very high on the list are several very special Ladies out there, and I just want to give a well deserved public Thank You! to all of you.  You are all different, all very lovely people who have made me smile and given me far more than I have given you.  There are more I should recognize, but a few stand out as extra special to me.

To Alisha of Nashville, who disappeared from this world last Christmas, may you have found the new life you were looking for.  I miss you.

To Jamielee, the girl I wish had been next door, may your Browns have a better 2004.

To Sabrina Black, a classy, warm Lady who gives me a reason to get back to Colorado, may you truly become the very best, just as you wish.

To Taylor of DC, the Lady with eyes and smile and laugh and heart to die for, may the flocks of birds always swoop around you.

And to my unnamed special Lady, you know who you are, may you find the right person to cherish you when you are properly ready to let them.
