I was looking at the Carolina's top 100 provider list and noticed Laura Bentley wasn't on it. Her score is 9.8 and has quite a few reviews. At the bottom of the list the overall score is less than 6. When I do a search for providers with a score over 7 I get way more than 100 results.

I was told then it was bc the girl had broken a certain rule and that is why she was banned from being on the Top list.

Understandable. And if a providers last review becomes dated I can see being dropped off the list.

Although it would be nice if the # of reviews was lower. I can see the list having some use but there will be a lot of girls with good scores and recent reviews that don't make the list, so I'll probably stick to the normal search.

I didn't look up the provider you mentioned but does she have at least 20 reviews? Is her last review within 3 months? Many providers fall off the list without a current review then pop back on when a new review comes in.  

She definitely qualifies based on the 20 reviews and recent review rule, so it is either a clerical/computer glitch or error, or she did something naughty.

I checked out the top 100 lists in the cities I hobby in.  After learning about the skewed parallel between higher prices and higher scores, I learned these lists, based on numerical scores, mean nothing.  Don't know why so many have not figured it out that seem to have been here awhile.

A lot of us have actually called for elimination of the top lists. They have totally corrupted the review system. There was always some review manipulation since TER was started but the Top lists have made review manipulation grow exponentially.  
Not to mention all the drama that goes with it. Did you know that provider #1 just left TER because some mean man had the gall to give her a "terrible" 8/9 review, after 61 straight 10/10s? So all of a sudden the site that was totally responsible for making her what she is, is now a terrible site. She dropped from #1 to #5 so she took her ball and went home.

Or the BSC hookers and their WhiteKnights will descend upon you with a vengeance.

Like many have said, those top 100 lists are useless and I would hope most guys wouldn't care about them. I read reviews in my local area and if the lady is out of range of what I'm comfortable paying, I simple move on to the next one

But to me, the only "use" these top lists have is related to the propagation of review manipulation.

haha you read my post on Chicago board. You know I've only had terrible experiences with the "required OTC" guys. I run far far away from that stuff, unless - of course - we fall in love and you decide to buy me a big, shiny ring and give me babies.

Another possibility is having two personas in two cities with different names and prices. I think if they get caught TER has the option of merging the names or putting them on the "naughty" list or maybe delisting them.  

That is one of the things I checked when I read her profile. I didn't mention it in my follow up post, but yes, it's definitely off the table.

Then she was gone and it was not due to lack of reviews

In all fairness the old broad in question is not fat. lol
