I've only heard 'provider' on the internet. Also 'whore', 'ho', and 'hooker' sound deragotary.

'prostitute' is not as bad, but it's still a little negative, but that is the dictionary word for it.

'escort' is good but it only applies to outcall escorts.

Of course use her name when referring to her but I mean when WE are talking about other providers in general.

WE call them "providers".  Why do YOU want to use another word?  The term "providers" is nice in that we know what it means but wouldn't mean anything necessarily to an outsider.  Some of the other words you mentioned are not only indiscreet but crude as well.

If I'm speaking in general terms, I'll describe her as my date.

How about a lady, unless proven otherwise. Most of us would be very, very lucky to have them on our arm. Just like Usher says - A lady on the street and a freak in the bed. Always be polite and respectful, they will guide you from there. Be At Peace.

I say "lady", or "ladies"...as in ladies of the night.

Makes me think of the Depeche Mode song "Sister of Night".

Why do you say that the term 'escort' only applies to outcall escorts?  The term is correct for a provider whether she provides service outcall or at incall.

I refer to the ladies as my Superfriends: They are super, and they are my 'friends'. Providers are so much like superheroes, really: Double identities, dashing costumes, secret batcaves, etc.

And I defy anyone to tell me that the ability-to-suck-the-chrome-off-a-trailer-hitch is NOT a Super-Power. ^_^

I suppose because I'm a bit older than your usual "patron", I hate the term provider and refer to them as what they are; Ladies.
Anyone who thinks differently is not a gentleman and doesn't deserve the attention and affection of these wonderful women.

Just my opinion...
