You are spot on.  When you look for a connection in the hobby you are setting yourself up.   It is so easy to get "mesmerized" with the girls and think you have found someone who is into you and that you matter.  It's an illusion. The girls encourage it (and who can blame this - this is their work).  But men have been falling for it forever - whether it is the girlfriend, the wife or the escort.  It's all the same illusion.   I'll take the high speed rush of my motorcycle  - at least that is real.

If you treat the lady w/ respect & she does the same in kind, you can have fun & see her again  when she's in town!! That is a connection!! Yes, you cannot expand that to a romantic relationship outside BCD because it's P4P, but BCD one can find a mutual respect for each other I.E. a connection!!

Many have a multitude of hobby's in a lifetime.  This is not one of them.  Too often guys get too involved in this game they play...seeking things that are unattainable here.

Try other things...play some golf...bowling...running.  Plenty of other physical activities that can immerse you with the same endorphines that this game gives you.

Hell...get on the ice with some 18 y/o kids who still thinks the NHL is calling.  A serious wake up call on that loose puck in the corner with that 6'3" 215 pound kid going at full speed  LOL

Hookers aren't going anywhere.  Many of us have played here for a couple of years...left for other shit..came back..and repeated this process.  Also, plenty of ways to play this game.

Or if you want to treat this truly as a "hobby"...don't get so mesmerized with the hookers.  Stop looking for that connection.  There isn't one here.

Cue the SD/sb advocates...tell this guy how much better that is than hooking.  Might be the gig he needs

Sorry if this topic has been covered.  But how do you know when you experience the hobby too much?  Are you an everyday person?  Every month?  Is it finances?  Is it about health?  If you see 365 new women a day over a year, that sure is a lot?

I am not judging or being condescending.  I am frequent flier and maybe the responses will make me feel better about myself I guess.
