You would think LA and NYC would be tops because of the population and cost of living, but nope. Many of those markets are saturated thus making it hard for all providers to get the amount of work they want. Some do, and some don't. In areas where there are tons of guys and NOT tons of providers, that is where you'll find more demand. They pay top dollar because no one is touring their towns, and they are tired of seeing the same women who live there.
It also depends what you look like, and what you offer. For instance, I have two ebony friends that do amazing in Jersey, Minnesota, and Boston....I did not do that well. OTOH, I have made bank in areas like Cleveland, Memphis, and Alabama where other women said it sucked for them. There are no absolutes with this, so I hope your post is not suggesting that you are just wanting to move to a new city to provide, hoping to do well. It may not work out that way, and you may find yourself having to travel.
Had a friend who was charging 350 in KY and moved to NYC...her rate only went up 50 bucks but she was living in an apt. that billed out at 5k a month. Needless to say, she moved back to Kentucky in less than six months. She was a gorgeous blonde, petite, young, etc. but simply did not make it in New York as a provider.
