Has anyone ever noticed that it's the girls who aren't perfect 10's that get the best reviews.... I mean, we have to put up with some shit to be in this biz. I, personally, am far from the Barbie Doll.... but, I'm really good at what I do and more than that, I love it. Even though others around me (family, occasionally SO) try to convince me that this biz is less than what I deserve, I know deep within my heart that this biz, not the money, but what I do makes me happy. As far as looks.... there's somebody for everybody. Whether a girl is Big or Small, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what's really important is that she beholds herself beautiful. I've always said that being sexy is way more of an attitude than a look. Sure, it's great to have eye candy, but if she acts dumpy, then when it comes down to it, she is, but if she knows how to behave with class, then she's classy..... If she thinks she's sexy, she is because that attitude will shine through no matter what size or shape she is.
Has anyone come to the conclusion from first hand experience, that providers who photograph their ads wearing a corset,or any other mode of dress which covers their mid-section,are "Zaftig"( flabby, or a bit, or much overwight) and do not wish to expose this to the hobbyist?.This is not meant as criticism against BBW, or slightly overweight gals.. just an observation. In fact I would actually like the honesty of NOT hiding anything.Some of us like more. (At times a bustier is meant depict an increased bust size, or disgise smallish breasts?. Any other observations????
Think about it... When your selling a car, do you have the auto-trader take the picture from the side that has the huge dent in the door? No, its from the good side. When a girl has her pics taken for the business of course she is going to show her best features.
I've seen so much debate about this on different messageboards. Can you try and see this from our point of view? That we're damned if we do and damned if we don't? If we have "real" looking pictures, we get vilified for not having the right look. If we get a great photographer, we're accused of "deceiving" potential clients. No matter how many pictures you have, someone will find something they don't like.
Of course we want to look as attractive as possible in pictures, and the idea of attractive is going to vary from person to person. I'm sure everyone puts up the pictures they personally feel make them look the most attractive. Is that deceptive? I think it's understandable. Pictures will never give you a complete idea of what a person looks like in real life.
If you've been disappointed in the past, then what I would suggest is that you only book with SPs where they are able to produce a photograph that shows exactly what you want.
I've actually had other Providers refuse a Banner exchange, because my site was to explicit, so I'm arrainging a pay site, so I can only show the "Vanilla" stuff for free, and hide the explicit. Now you tell me Hobbyists want to see more...??? Guess we can't please everyone...As Anya said,"We're Damned if we do,& damned if we don't...I've had clients say, "You look much better than your pix",or "I thought your ass would be bigger..!!". Then had reviewers say,"her ass was too Big"...Come on Guys...!!! While I love the great reviews and discussions you start and post into...I am one who hasn't put your banner on my site because of the explicitness. That is NOT to say that I don't like you. I in fact admire you quite a great deal. I just personally don't have those kinds of sites linked to mine.
I find your outlook fascinating and your candor a breath of fresh air. And I also agree with Anya. I was just discussing a past thread with a hobbiest today that concerned truth in advertising. I have since put more pictures showing my full body on my site and I have caught flack because it shows my belly. Now before I wasnt showing enough that I am a BBW. So whats the happy medium? I honestly don't think there is one.
What I have realized though, is that the gents who do come and see me know what to expect. They aren't comming for my great figure, because if they were, I would starve to death. My pictures are done primarily to make me happy. And I am damn lucky when someone else likes them also. As with you, what you see is what you get, an almost 40, Irish broad who has good skin and a great passion for men. Yes I have a huge ass, a big belly and a scar or two to remind me everyday to be thankful I am still alive. The Barbie types are great, I love looking at them too. But its nice to know someone wants to spend time with Me and not just my body.

What I don't agree with is, if the guys were coming to see you for your great body, you would starve...I think the guys who love Thick women believe our bodies are beautiful...!!! The old saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is so true....I love beautiful women, but to be honest, I think you are 50 times more beautiful & sexy, than that model you posted during SuperBowl, That you thought was so hot.....so our tastes are very different. The guys out there who have never sampled the pleasures of more mature women (> 40 yrs. old), or larger women simply don't know what they're missing. My 2 ATF's are a 51 year old (who definitely looks her age) and a younger lady who is probably 51 pounds larger than the charts say she should be at 5ft2 or so! I can understand the concept of a trophy on one's arm, and the pleasure of being with someone who belongs in a centerfold, and freely admit that there are many times when I enjoy that myself. But for me that's not the real world.
But getting down to my nitty-gritty: some of the most passionate, skillful, intelligent, sensitive, and enjoyable providers are those I have met that have been less than what society thinks is perfect from the neck down.
Robyn, Lass, Anya, and the rest of those described above constitute, IMHO, a uniquely elite portion of the provider population. And I'll repeat, those guys that don't see women like that are missing out on some awesome times. Just my .02!
When we get new girls we always suggest they get professionally done pictures. This is because we have let girls use their amateur pictures and these rarely generate enough interest in them.
The photographers are there to bring out the best aspects of the girls body/face. If the girl is a bit overweight she should not really hide it, as there are plenty of potential clients that don’t mind those kinds of ladies.
It is very important that the girls can create the look that the pictures indicate, i.e. being able to turn up to the client in the clothing shown on the pictures!
...pictures with the subject half-bent, arch in the back to hide saddle bags around the thighs... and when the breasts are "held" or squeezed together to "boost". Otherwise, I believe in leaving a little something to the imagination.
I don't try to hide anything. I am not a tiny woman, but as you can see on my pics or on my site, I list that. I have meat on me, but not a ton of cellulite. On my ad I state that I am 135 lbs. not 110. Some woman need to enhance what they have. I think everyone does that. We aren't going to show you our thighs first if they aren't the best, so we go for what it. Shaye
Not like in the next few days, but in the next few weeks. I like the pictures, but at the time, that was the outfit I had with me and I just don't want to give the impression that I'm PRIMARILY this or that, but versatile. I happen to think the office attire is a much better depiction of me, and the picture of me in the robe at the front door. I really like the black outfit I'm wearing on the site, but would rather it be secondary. I personally don't want to show myself nude too much on the site. I think it's more intriguing and sensual to make you wonder..I also prefer to demonstrate (for me anyway) sophistication and elegance and let my Gentlemen know that what happens behind closed doors with him is up to his imagination! Also, there are those who photograph well and those who don't. I happen to photograph horribly and look better in person; I've known many who photograph incredibly gorgeous when they are really quite average looking people. So, as Anya put it, you are going to give yourself the best advantage you can, and I would rather they be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. But then, looks aren't everything - it's the whole person.
When I am searching for a lady on TER for my next encounter, I usually don't even look at the pictures at all.....I just read the reviews. I have universally found that they are vastly more reliable than the pictures. I have found that the ladies who don't show too much of themselves, and have great reviews, are almost always very attractive. Unless you're really hung up on a specific body type, forget the pics.

I think that sometimes beautiful women like this can have photos with clothes on and not show their mid-section or the rest of their body for that matter and still be very sexy.
It's obvious that Anne Marie isn't fat yet she doesn't have to bare her breasts or anything else. This is the sexiest type of pic to me and leaves something to the imagination.
I never really gave it much thought, but generally, i like it when the ladies have some form of clothing on, and if they are going to wear something, a corset/bustier is a great way to go for me. Hubba,hubba :-P Like they say, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. If one isn't your cup of tea, there are surely many others that will be.
