SOS re giving private client information

I'm having a problem lining up certain escort dates.  I'm kind of a cherry at this, having had only a few past dates, and those with dancer/escorts I'd visited at their clubs so had some background with, so screening was a casual process.  No sweat.  But in shopping the "open market", I'm finding there's one piece of information often required that I just won't give up -- my home address.  I'm looking for only for higher-$$$ better-known providers in my home city (either located or visiting here), with multiple TER reviews of at least 7 (looks) and 8 (performance), with 8/8 and 8/9 and 9/9 reviews also in the mix, so these are gorgeous and well thought of and popular ladies.  I realize, by the way, that this makes me a "provider snob" (is there an acronymn for that?), but that's where I am and what I'm used to.  Anyway, I do provide all other information requested.  I give my home-business phone, which is 411-listed under my business name, but only for number, not address, and agree for the provider to call if necessary to verify the listed number's really mine.  I have a separate home-personal phone which I don't give, but it's unlisted so of no verification value anyway.  I agree to show my pictured driver's license and a few charge cards at the time of first meeting, but on none of these would I let the provider see my address (or of course account or other IDing numbers).  Now, if there is some meaningful verification providers perform based on address (after all,
LE can live anywhere), I'd be willing to discuss the matter, but all I'm told is that having my address makes them more secure, which sounds to me like they're saying it gives them a not-easily-altered club (blackmail?) over my head perchance they ever want to use it (any providers reading this, please don't take that personally -- it's just a seemingly logical conclusion when all other logic fails).  I pay cash for dates when I walk in, so the only real provider risk seems to be violence or some deviant thing I can't even imagine, and if any of that happens providers can and should press charges, making my address only a phone company subpoena away.

So that's where I am -- if I don't give my home address, I often don't get the date.  I've read past discussion board strings on the subject of what clients normally give up, but none seem to resolve my problem.  Maybe I just need to better understand the verification process providers use.  Please, you more experienced guys (and providers) out there -- how about some help with this?

unless of course they were doing incall there (obviously)

Giving your work number is pretty standard but I don't know anyone who requires a home phone or a home address. How odd.

The topic of giving out sensitive issue has been discussed quite a few times.

The bottom line is that it comes down to your level of comfort.  In my humble opinion, sharing of sensitive information is a two way street.

If the provider expect you to provide your life's history, is she willing to do the same?

Granted the ad provides a visual, and some other pertinent information about the advertiser.  However, it does not reveal her true identity. Sometimes, there is the "bait and switch" element involvement.   Generally speaking, most advertisers use aliases, and other means to safeguard their identity.

Under the present circumstances, discretion is the better part of valour  I think providing a verifiable phone number, and references should be enough.

Personally, that's where I would draw the line.  If some is visiting and wants to see my driver's license that's okay.  But under NO circumstances will I provide it to a stranger. If there is reciprocation -- it's another matter.

There are too many identity thefts, and other issues that worry me.
