It brings to mind the saying that the race in life as well as business "is a marathon, not a sprint"
I have been talking to a few providers and a some of them want to know how to increase their business (more clients). I have offered a few Ideas (like special prices, Advertise, Advertise, Advertise ... send them a new client and get 1/2 off).
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am sure that there are a few Ladies (including myself) that would like to see what you have to say.
Thanks for your time.
I know providers who charge big bucks and literally have to turn business away, providers who charge big bucks and have to supplement their income from another job, providers who charge below average and have plenty of business and providers who charge below average who are struggling.
The key to those providers who have plenty of business, whether they charge a lot or a little, is perception of value.
How each client interprets value differs, of course; so part of this is targeting that perception to the provider's preferred client demographic.
So what has specifically worked for me as a client wouldn't necessarily work for others. But I'll say in general that whether a woman has charged $200 or $700, I knocked on her door with the envelope in hand believing I was getting value equivalent to or greater than what was contained in the envelope.
Look at those providers who are *actually* successful right now (as opposed to those who brag and aren't really successful), and you will see that each one does it differently in terms of the specifics; but the common denominator is that the men who see them consider themselves to be getting something worth the money.
Forget the gimmicks (Buy one get one free, refer a client get X amount off, etc.)
Forget the specials (This week only!! 20% off for one hour, etc.)
Ive never run a special. DO NOT RUN SPECIALS!! Why devalue yourself? Dont go backwards.
Dont look at other lady's rates or say "Im as hot as her. If she can charge so much, so can I"-- this is a mistake. You dont know how long is took one provider to get to the rate she's at. Or she could have a full time job and is not completely dependent on providing.
1. Have good rates. Have rates that attract a lot of clients.
2. **Give them EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!** That way, you are not just getting $300 one time (or whatever you charge for an hour.) You're getting $3,000 over the next month or two from the guy because hes going to keep seeing you.
3. You need to encourage every client to be a repeat client. Do whatever it takes to make sure they keep coming back. (other than running specials).
4. Once youre so busy you're turning guys away, increase your rates by 20%. Do this gradually. Maybe once per 4-6 months.
5. Grandfather your old clients for about a year. Then bump them up $100 if they want to keep seeing you. If they dont, its ok. Youre busy with the new clients at the new rates.
Repeat #2-5 over and over and over
Before you know it, you're busy on a consistent basis and youre at a high rate.
Again, do not start high like the lady whos been around for a few years and worked her way up to that rate just because you're as hot as her.
Nobody starts at the top. Everybody has to work their way up and prove themselves in any line of work...
It brings to mind the saying that the race in life as well as business "is a marathon, not a sprint"
But your recommendations are "spot on" and could easily be applied to any business models/goals.
Unfortunately so many today have come to expect that they "should have it all" without putting in the time and energy to achieve a goal.
As GaG said...this is a marathon (life that is) and not a sprint. Once a person reconginizes this they can finally begin that journey. And many, many never realize this. All you need to look at is the state of our "elders" now. Too many are living hand to mouth having never understood the values of saving. As those were at one time the youth, but had to have it ALL then!
Only easy to do if you like your work. And if you feel good about life. Then, this paragraph that you wrote is better than an entire terabyte of business and success books.
Thank you so much for your opinion and break down of this business, HonestProvider. I value what you have said and I am going to take a look at my pricing and put your outline into effect.
I want to thank all of you that have given advice ... THANK YOU!
Hopeful I can make the right decisions and help pass the words on to the few other providers I have been talking with.
Again, THANK YOU so much for these pearls of wisdom.
Running specials reeks of cheap or desperate.
I would add to try and find what makes you stand out from other providers.
What have your previous clients said that they really liked most about you?
Who do you think your target demographic is? Okay horny men, but go a little deeper think about the typical client who you have been. If they have reviews, check each of their reviews to see what they liked and disliked about their other providers.
HP you're right on the mark!
good rates + great service = happy clients + frequent flyers x increased patronage
Excellent service NEVER goes out of style or is underappreciated by satisfied clients!
They are not the same thing, by the way.
The first gets your face and name out there to the public. That involves putting up ads and getting your name out on these and other boards in a positive way.
The selling is the clincher. When someone contacts you, pour on the charm and grab them. Don't put them off with long delays in getting back to them, etc. Appear that you are eager to see THEM.
Furthermore, it is heartening that you are interested in this concept. So many providers, even ones with reasonable assets and potential, lack either maturity, intelligence, self-confidence, or a combination of all to become successful. I might add to his suggestions that developing a client data base can be helpful, especially if you tour different locales. A personal email or TM of a coming trip to your prior clients' area can be effective, if done in a non-intrusive.
and these two points are always drummed in.
But my dear old pappy (RIP) who started the busniness I am now in put it most suscinctly. He said:
"Son, in life most things are not bought, they're sold."
I have ladies in Jax that market themselves. Thye folow up with me to see how things are going and so forth and asking if we want to get together if they have not heard from me in a month or so. I think that is great habit to get into from the provider side. It's a very nice touch and I almost always book a date for the next week or so. I guess its also nice to have my firends as very attractive ladies ![]()

For the ladies to increase biz get new pics freshen up your website. Maybe do a fantasy photo shoot. Guys appreciate girls who take pride in their work and who knows maybe someone will have a fantasy about you that never even thought about seeing you.
