I just read the 30 year anniversary edition of the Happy Hooker by Xaveria Hollander and it was a riot :) Anyone else read it? Like the blurb said, it's still pretty fresh. Keeping in mind I was born in the 80s, were the 70s really like that?

There is a backpacking store in Gatlinburg TN called the Happy Hiker.

BTW, if you're in that area, don't bother looking for anything. The Smoky Mountains is the most family-oriented resort area in the United States. You would probably have to go to Knoxville or Chattanooga.

For the 70's HH was pretty spicy. I think it is time a lady wrote a current version. It would be a best seller, just like HH. I dabble in writing and have often thought of putting together a book about experiences, etc. Does anyone have any interest in collaborating on such an effort?

I've been doing a lot of research on writing non-fiction.  You can make decent money but it's good to research your topic first to see what else has been written on the topic.  I got this book on Amazon.com.  I haven't started reading it yet but it's gotten really good reviews.

We say we're researching for the book - which we are - and then get the best in the bizz to give us their best - for publicity in the book?  I'd buy that for a dollar!

The "Tricks or Treats" book looks to be better titled "You won't believe what this pervert/freak wanted me to do!"  In other words, full of hostility and disrespect for clients.
