Has anyone else noticed that nearly every time a provider gets a bad or mediocre review that it is followed up with a spectacular one? This is almost always the case when a provider bitches on the boards.

There was a gal in Nola who was famous for that shit. Every month it was the same 3 or 4 handles (same guy mind you) that would review her just to put her name on the top of the page. To add more humor, every bad thing the last guy said was touched on by the 10/10 guy and disputed lol. Talk about obvious. If a provider is that wonderful, why can't she get someone other than her boyfriend and white knights to say so? Why can't she get great reviews from guys in other areas, not just some shit hole where they only have 4 hot providers, so of course she is a 10 to them lol.
I love the guys who have only one or two reviews and then go into some dissertation about how they have toured the world and been with hundreds of providers, and x is above them all. Oh really, where are the other reviews to even prove you've seen anyone but her bwahahahaa. Women should fight their own battles. I've received 2 scathing ones, and got one deleted through TER protocol and in the process of identifying the second one.
I have never asked someone to post one, the only thing I asked for on the first one a while ago was empathy in the form of allowing a vent on a board, it's hard of course the first time you're called "fat" in a derogatory manner, but no need for a white knight
If your photos are hiding your true weight and age, then a guy can point that out. If a guy decides to call you or anyone else fat in his review, sadly, that's his opinion which is what reviews are in the first place, BUT if your photos are a true representation of how you look, then he is an ass for saying something in a review. Be prepared to send TER a cell phone photo holding a dated sign, if you try to say you are x size and a guy said you're not. This is how most of those reviews are handled. They want proof he is full of shit.
We have all had those guys, but there is a secret to avoiding them. Where you advertise, how much you charge (pending area) and how you represent yourself, all impact the type of guys you are going to attract and the type of reviews you're going to get. Took me a few years to finally learn that principle, but I have not had a problem since.

Her BP ad claims she is 5' and 110 lbs, her reviews almost unanimously seem to dispute that claim. I have no idea if she is "fat" or not, but her reviews don't paint that pleasant a picture, and considering the low standards of most TER guys, that is really saying something.
Sorry Cosette, I don't know you and I had nothing to do with the reviews that have been written, but there is a common theme to your reviews and that is that you are "heavier than advertised" Too many of them for them all to be liars. Sorry, but those are simply the facts.
I did not read any of her reviews, but a provider saying she is x weight when she really is not, is often a common theme here. That is why she will be asked to provide an unedited photo holding a sign with the date, to prove she is what she says she is....or, the reviews will stand.
Just about every girl has been there at one point. I weigh 120 but find I look heavier because I am short and built funny. I carry all my weight in my upper and mid sections, vs. my legs. BUT, my photos SHOW that, because many have called me tubby. If I disguised that with certain poses and photoshop 10 lbs. off my ass, that's another story, but I don't do that. I show my body from every angle, every position, and you can see where I am thick at.
If just about every review said something to the contrary, then we would have a problem.

If you take the time to glance at a few of her reviews, the ones calling her "heavier" (a nice way of saying fat) are by no means the exception, it looks like almost half of her reviews start off that way.
It's not the fact that she is not a skinny woman that is the problem, the problem is the misrepresentation. There are plenty of guys here who don't mind a few extra pounds, those should be the guys that she should be trying to attract if getting good reviews is important to her.
To each his own, I'm not going to dispute how much I weigh, if people can't tell that a 5'0 girl at 110 lbs is actually very curvy I can't help them. Perhaps people think 110lbs and 5'6 and automatically think thin. I'm so short that at 120lbs I would seriously look fat. Thin friends of mine at the same height have no problem reaching 90 lbs.
I also get the point about BP, but unfortunately this isn't worth enough for me to drop like $200 or $300 per month on advertising. And I disagree with the quality of people that answer BP posts, I've been very happy so far. There's all kinds of people in all places.
To be honest, each month gets better because people are learning more what to expect.

but in 93 reviews I have only had two guys claim I was heavier, and I was at that time. It is not about your posted weight, it is about you looking or NOT looking like your photos. A guy cannot put an exact number in a review, because unless he puts us on a scale, it's bs. He can only say she "looks" like this.
Sorry, but if you're happy wth clients from the crappiest site in the world, then I guess that's all that matters. I know many women who use it because it's cheap, and they have to weed through a ton of assholes to find one good client. If the clients were that great, the reviews would reflect that. Backpage guys 'rarely' spend more than 300 bucks, nor do they write the most flattering reviews, but if that is of no concern to you, carry on.
I can't imagine NOT wanting to get paid as much as one possibly could, not wanting to save time on screening, and not wanting guys who talk good about them, vs. talking bad about them, but I have been shocked before. It is your business, and you can run it how you see fit. At the same time, you're going to keep getting guys who talk shit about you in reviews. I don't understand how you can post about a guy being a dick, then say you're happy with what you attract at the same time.
In certain areas where BP is ALL there is, sure, you can find great clients, but that is NOT the norm. Alabama, La. Miss. TN, sure...tons of doctors and lawyers use backpage, and they pay 3-400 too. OTOH, rarely do guys in big cities go cruising for BP girls unless they want cheap, bang for the buck types, and they certainly don't buy many dinner dates. As you noted, they also don't give too many flattering reviews. I've used it too...so have many of the FBSM gals I screen for, and I would never use it again for myself. These girls are not FS, so the clients are different. They get 200 for a damn body rub in New Orleans of all places. It's not the women who use it, but who you are amongst...pimps, rip offs, and pretty much the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality providers.
You're new, but if you stick around for even 2 years, you will see why so many avoid it...not that you should if you are happy.

Actually, backpage advertising is expensive if you advertise every day... depending on the area, that could be like $300/month. Eros is 120 - 200/month.
BP gets you higher volume, but let me tell you... I advertise on a few sites and jacked up my rates a bit because of the fact that I want to attract different clients, and seriously just can't handle the stress of seeing and getting ready for a bunch of people in a day. If they're tough reviewers and I'm five minutes late? Oh, the shit will hit the fan.
Anyway,, the point... rates, sites, and accurate pictures. (I take my freckles out so people don't recognize my marks, just FYI, I have a lot of them, I'm Canadian LOL)
Just the other day I was panicking bc I had no appointments. I have a 90 minute minimum at $600 (In major cities.) I got two appointments, and BAM... $1,350 in two appointments.
It's worth the advertising, and I'll tell you professional photos have been unbelievably beneficial to income. a $350 photo shoot had a big return financially.
Get 'em done every time something changes.

I have never, ever claimed to be pretty. None of my ads or website will mention my face, cause honestly, I'm the girl next door. I'm not ugly, I get hit on out in public without all the trick lighting, but no one is going to confuse me for a professional model any time soon. But, one of my recent reviews went so far as to say he got it up in spite of my face, and I gotta say, I was a little taken aback. I took a look at his reviews, and this is very important to him, and my face is just not what he usually goes for. That's fine, my face is blurred and you can't be everything to every one. He was nice enough to write a very complimentary review other than that, so I'll take it. I figured I'll keep doing my thing and soon that review will be on the second page.
But then I got a few reviews specifically mentioning how pretty I am, and, I don't know. I didn't ask for them, and I am not a ten, so I don't know what to do? Do you guys assume that the newer reviews are more of a rebuttal, than a fair evaluation? I've actually had people say "wow, I'm glad I didn't cancel, I almost did when I saw that review", so it is obviously having some sort of effect on bringing in new people. So I am kind of glad there are new ones to put people's minds at ease, but I don't want to look suspicious because of other people's actions either?
Am I over thinking?
The first thing I think of is a fake review was posted. If the hobbyist is new as in one or two reviews, I will think it is a fake, usually because the provider cried during his session and he felt either obligated (sympathy) or he was coerced.
I don't like it when a provider discusses reviews with me, especially if they are not mine.
Good thing that not everyone thinks like me.
That's funny because all of my nicer reviews are written by well known hobbyists with years of multiple reviews under their belts.

I've never written a sympathy review because I'm usually one of the first to review a provider that rotate through here. However, some providers have complained about bad or unfair reviews to me on subsequent visits. I'm sure few of them will ask some clients to write good reviews, especially after unfair reviews.
These reviews do us more harm than good....makes us look desperate for approval. There were times when I gained weight and a guy said so...did not try to have the review pulled, because it was true. I was in grad school and that to me, was more important than working out every day. Now, I just take a month off if my ass eats too much lol.
