"What Kind of Work Do You?"

I have questions to ask providers.  If someone (an acquaintance, stranger, family or friend) asks you, "What kind of work do you do?"  How do you respond?  Can you reply without lying to that person?  Do you feel guilty of lying about your profession?   Well... for one thing, because it is illegal you can't really disclose what you do, right?  Has anyone resolved this dilemma and arrived at a  "peace-of-mind" about it?

When I am asked what I do I always say online customer service from home... Well its kind of the truth and online customer service is real and legal. There is only one person that I actually ly to about what I do and thats my mom. No way in hell Im admitting this shit to her.....hehehehehehehe....anyone else who cares what they think. If they dont want to know, dont ask!!!!

I have two real-life identities, complete with different educations, occupations, SSNs etc. Who I am depends on which billfold comes out of the safe deposit box.

As long as I don't defraud anyone or evade taxes, it is perfectly legal.

I only hobby under one of those identities; so I simply stick with that identity and its occupation for providers.

Its better to stretch the truth instead of lying.
I am a sewer pipe engineer.
I had a GF in the past who traveled regularly. She told me her job was rating Hotels, and their relationships with clients.
I didn't ask for details.

I DO have another job, so thats my cover. Alot of my friends/family DO wonder how I am affording school without a loan and living expenses? My 2nd job, that I "work from home" miscellaneous work is what I always say..NOT a Lie, NOT the truth...Enough to get by. No guilt about what I do. Its a service, and absolutely should NOT be illegal, BUT thats just MY two sense!

the answer i was given by a docent  when i asked what her job was,at a museum . better question " what do you do to keep busy"    good job description is "traveling notary public" , they do in call and obviously out call with no set hours .and make a good living , it is easy to get your notary license. shuts them up right away.

Really, I say I fuck for a living!

You really have too much time on your hands and not enough upstairs.
