Does anyone have any idea of whether hobbyist having reliable erotic information has affected the income that strippers can expect to earn?  In my case I no longer have any interest in strip shows given that I can more reliably fill a fantasy in other ways.  Interesting to hear the experiences or views of others...

I like an occasional club just for the variety that is there. Seeing 20 to 30 different sets of naked breasts and butts in a couple hours time is truly exhilarating for me.

Funny- The Whole Strip club thing seems really lame to me.

I liken it to a restaurant where the food is smelled from the kitchen  brought to your table paraded in front of you and perhaps even smeared in your face- and yet you cannot eat.

The subject of this board makes so much more sense to me.  But then I don't find the typical stripper/PS look appealing usually which might be a factor.  But G-string divas on HBO was lame for me, even with more variety.

Back in the 80's before the internet, prostitution as it was from the beginning of time going on as we all know. However, it was only advertised in various newspapers, or micro newspapers, such as the Hollywood Press. Also, there was ye old pick up of street walkers. It just seemed to me that more people in those days were more into strip clubs, because they were more conviently located off of various main throughfares. As always, you go to these places and get your kicks from watching ladies take their cloths off. The net changed all that, you can now see what you are buying well ahead of time and can read these reviews,and find out how much it will cost you. It is GREAT!!! I may go to a strip club now oh, maybe once every two years with my colleagues after work, but that is it. There is no reason to go with the hobby going on, you can have your cake and eat it too.

The hard-sell hustling for tips can make the strip club scene less pleasant than it could be.  Also, too much disrespect flowing in both directions.

The personality difference between strippers and escorts is amazing.  When I was young and went to strip clubs occasionally, a Lady who was even moderately pleasant stood out as "special".  
Now, an escort with whom I don't have some level of positive emotional connection is rare.

Combine the attitude difference and the FS difference, and I haven't been to a strip club in years (decades?)

have decent kitchens and lots of nice girls working day shift.  And, typically no cover charge before 7pm.

So, if I'm out and about and need a bite to eat, or have some time to kill on the way to an appt (business or hobby), I figure I might as well eat or have a beer in a place that has naked women walking around.

I think there's still a niche for strip clubs.  If I'm careful, I can make $200 last 4 or 5 hours in a strip club and still have a lot of fun.

eventhough this seems like an obvious progression for lots of guys it doesn't seem to be impacting strip club revenues at all. I live in south florida and the only thing the strip clubs have to fear is
changing laws that have been bandied about as long as I can remember.

I agree with the other posts.  I used to go to the clubs for some relaxation.  I have not been to them since the internet and independent providers.  I can’t understand the street stuff and the other methods any more thanks to the internet and review boards.  I have put my trust in TER.  I would rather spend the little extra to really enjoy my dreams.  It probably costs me less than the clubs.

I am frustrated by the posts in the San Diego board about the LE.  What occurs here is between 2 consenting adults.  There is no public display of things that upset some people.  Some people get upset about the strip clubs and the street business

just turn me on and no matter how much money I offer, those ladies never come home with me...THEY are only into making money at their job!

I use strip clubs to get ready for what the next adventure brings.When we go to Vegas , after playing golf we go to a club to relaxe and see the ladys, but what you must know is that we have lined up a indie to come to the room to finish off a great day.What a way to spend 4 great days in Vegas.

I can see why many men here don't like strip clubs anymore. I'm guessing you get frustrated because once you get there, you really want to take someone home, and that is usually very tough to do.

I'm bi, and like to look at beautiful topless women, so I love strip clubs. Yet going home with someone isn't my first priority.

As someone else posted, seeing tons of beautiful topless girls walking around is great. Also fun is receiving sensual body to body lap dances from a variety of hot girls.  

For whatever reason, I've had very good luck getting a dancer to go home (for free). I think it's in the attitude. I'm not aggressive touching her, and I treat her as I'd want to be treated, i.e telling her, "you are the prettiest girl here tonight" rather than something crude, like "man, you've got great tits!"

I've had several give me little gifts, and needless to say, every time I went back to that club the gift givers were the ones that got my special attention, but I've never taken any home. Although I did date one when I was a youngster, but that's totally different.

And you're right about the attitude, a little niceness goes a long way!

.......and actually had a good time. I was there around four hours and only spent $80.00.
This is the first time I've ventured into a GC since I started the hobby. I realized a long time ago,that the money I used to spend in GC,I could've used on 1 or 2 providers.

Last year on a business trip, I couldn't find anyone to hook up with (I didn't discover TER until shortly thereafter), o settled for going to "The Candy Store" a local strip bar.

For those who haven't been to Tucson, it is the king of thrifty towns as lap dances were only $5 a song.  I found this really amazing girl who I had as my personal dancer for about 25 songs.  (she would go do her set and then come back to me). Almost as good as a GFE (good thing I had black jeans on).  Actually managed to have her grind me to Heaven twice (followed quickly by two trips to the mens room to clean up).

As dances run around $20 here in NJ, it isn't as satisfying as things are too rushed, but it was fun in AZ.  (Gotta love those $2 minimums at the blackjack tables as well.  I pushed a $50 to the table and the other 4 players gasped as if I'd thrown a $1000 bill on the table).
