I've once waited over 3 hrs in the lobby waiting for a girl. She was a favorite and has kept me updated throughout the waiting process, so in this case it was something I could put up with.

On the other hand, if there were no updates I tend to bail after 30 minutes.  How about you guys?

I have waited for hours before, but then we're talking about nothing on the plate and her coming over.

If I am somewhere else, no way I wait around that long.

for some guy who obviously does not have a room there, and has not checked in, to be hanging out in the lobby for ANY amount of time...

I no longer use hotels, but I do have neighbors and I definitely would draw attention to myself if some guy was waiting in front of my house for me to get ready lol

I would simply walk after, say, 10 minutes.  Go to another location and then attempt contacting her there.

I'd have to agree there, I wouldn't let someone wait outside my incall for longer than a few minutes. It just looks wrong.

....I pre-plan and keep track of time so when they arrive ON TIME (I hate when guys arrive early...i'd actually prefer they arrive 10mins late than early if I had to pick shhhh lol) I don't have to keep them waiting. Worst case scenario i've had him wait 10mins and felt bad I took too long getting ready. You waiting 3hrs is nuts man you must've REEEEEEAAALLLYYYYY wanted to see her. 3hrs she was seeing another date or something.

I would not wait over 10 minutes in a lobby or outside & even that is pushing it.  It draws attention to him & could lead Security or LE to HER.  It's just not discreet & this game we play is all about being discreet.  LE &/or hotel security often patrols parking looking for just such.

I like to arrive 15-20 minutes early because I've been burned by weather & traffic delays, so I like to find the location in advance.  What I do and recommend is to withdraw to the corner coffee shop & wait there get a light snack & refreshment to linger over.  There is generally a bathroom available.  It's never happened to me but if I was to agree to wait longer, one might set up their laptop or smart phone & look busy.  I've had business meetings in coffee shops as a convenient meeting place for the parties involved & would feel comfortable in that setting with a small purchase.  My Favs, know I make the call from the coffee shop & I've timed my return time...  so when I arrive I immediately get out without the need to phone again & quickly move to enter the building.

Now if the hotel had a resturant or coffee shop on site, that possibly could be utilized but you must blend in.

I have been lucky that all of my appointments in the past few years have been on time, or at least would advise by phone or text if they will be late or require re-scheduling.  This has a lot to do with selecting established providers.

Back in the old Craigslist days, when there was a higher chance of NCNS, I always had a backup plan, i.e. list of at least two or three numbers of other girls/agencies (available that same time, in the same geographic area) in my pocket.  Would start calling other girls after 5 min and leave a message with the NCNS girl that I had made other plans...as soon as I set the new appointment.

If updates are being given, maximum wait time would depend on a number of factors: how well I know/like the girl, what her reason is, my schedule "open time" (which may be long or short), and what alternatives I have to do in the meantime.  One girl told me she would be 30 min late...was on a warm summer day.  I was outside the hotel in downtown Boston watching a lot of pretty ladies in short dresses walk by me, from the bench I was sitting at.  I told the provider to take her time...no problem.  She gave me an extra 15 min service for my kindness, ha ha!

I don't hang in a hotel lobby if I can help it.  And I don't think I'd wait 3 hrs even with frequent updates, unless there was some real good reason.

No one, guy or girl, should ever be in the lobby in the first place, UNLESS they are passing through it on the way to the room. Too many guys arrive at the hotel location & then call for the room number from the lobby... when the lady answers, I'd say on a 95% basis, the gent WILL repeat the room number back to the lady to ensure he has the correct room. This should be done from your vehicle, NOT the lobby, as it can too easily be overheard & lead the hotel right to the lady.

I personally would not care how great she was, if a woman, or provider, or what not has so much disrespect for me and my time and life I would NEVER consider waiting nor EVER seeing her again.

It is imho flat out self centered and rude.

If I was insane enough to wait, that better on the house!

Turn the tables, if YOU as a client nonchalantly arrived to your appointment 3 hours late, what do you think the provider would say? She would say see ya! Why should she be a exception to the rule?

sorry just thinking out loud lol

I would never wait in the lobby for any length of time.  For security reasons, I'll either wait in my car or at nearby Micky D's or Starbucks if it's going to be longer than a few minutes.

An ATF was running about 90 mins late on one occasion, but she kept in contact so it was't a big deal.  On the other hand, I waited close to 3 hrs. for a very well known and popular provider on an outcall date to my hotel.  She's well known for being tardy, so I knew ahead of time what I was getting myself into.  She kept in contact throughout the delay, so I waited and waited and waited unril she finally arrived.

As for how long I would wait before leaving or canceling, I sorta take thing on a case by case basis.  Although, if a providers doesn't keep in contact when she's running late and/or doesn't answer her phone, she's history!

Check that online and you should be able to get a set of balls (buy a few pair) and a backbone at some ridiculously low prices.

Does your doctor do a prostate exam?  Go see him (or maybe her?) and get off that way.  I doubt the wait will be anywhere near three hours  :D

Got into a situation where 10 min was the appropriate time. Last message sent indicated I was there, to let me know...I bailed, and never got a call or text even after. I had seen her 4 times before that...She even called 1 hour prior to verify the appointment. needless to say, I never called again.

No way was I sitting around to be bait.

That long delay was an exception to my rule ...LOL ...since I would never have waited that long for any other provider.  She more than made up for her delay, although I would not repeat with her because she really needs to learn how to manage her time better.

I develop a severe attitude problem. The last time I went through with an appointment after a 30 minute wait, it was a dreadful experience due to my attitude. I couldn't get the wait time out of my head, and that spoiled everything. Never again.

Longest I've waited was about 30 minuets? If I already invested the time to drive to their place I can probably deal with an hour of waiting.

Promptness is key if you consider yourself a professional, except in cases of emergencies of course (and sometimes crazy LA traffic).  I wouldn't tolerate it after about 30 minutes.
