Can 'love' be bought?

And yep.... another 'love' thread....get over it.

No,  but you can rent it for a while.

No!!! Lust can be bought, and a good time can be bought. Don't think ya can buy love, hell the Beatles told us that 50 years ago. Like I've said in the past I don't pay for sex I pay highly skilled actresses to pretend they like me, kind of like paying to see a magician, y'all gals are master illusionists. That being said I do think its possible for a provider and client to develop genuine affection for eachother. And maybe for some it turns into a "love" of sorts. Ya can put a price on anything, time, companionship, and of course sex but I believe that genuine affection can't be priced.

Love has so many meanings, that you need to be clear on what you are talking about.

In it's purest form, love is a positive attribute of a person who is knowing, caring, and respectful.

These qualities are nurtured for their own ends, and never for any tangible reward.

Its purest form. Well said.

Only the most desperate and socially inept look to buy love. Of course, if one is an out of work hooker she can give her body away and hope for the best, but shouldn't survival come before love?

She may say that she is trying to lure me in, but she always stampedes away in a huff crying her eyes out.

True, I may be horny, but I will not be seeing any over the hill old hookers and I will not be throwing out 10's so they bestow their graces upon me either.

No one here has to be a shrink to decipher your posts. They are basically simple and show that you spend too much time watching Oprah. One does not have to hold the spotlight to know that a hyena's eyes will glow in the dark.

You should clean off your keyboard. It looks like the letter keys are sticking again.

Since you claim that you don't always read posts before you reply to them I figure that you would see it without too much difficulty.

Just so you know, you do in fact transmit happy energy to me. I am always amused and you have given me quite a bit to laugh about.

Here is what I've found.  At its best, this little world works the opposite of the civvy world.  Here, we fuck first and, in the process of several sessions, get to know each other.  That can often lead to friendships at a minimum.  It has with me.  In my case it has not moved beyond that, but for some people, it does.

but in my experience, love is only a possibility when money is taken OUT of the equation.

When a hooker "retires" to be kept by a man, it's not love which is a symbiotic relationship, she is simply entering into a different type of parisitical relationship, which may or may not ever grow into love, but as long as money is still in the mix, it's almost impossible to tell when or if the feelings become genuine.

I've had countless "relationships" with hookers who have intimated that they would love to quit work to be with a man who would "love them, and take care of them", and I have been involved with a special few who have told me after one date or a dozen that "I don't want your money anymore, I just want to be with you" It's still hard to make it work even then, but at least you have a fighting chance at that point.

FWIW gratitude is not love, try losing all your money, if she's still there, then it's love. If she bails, well at least you got your answer. lol

Im a lil impressed...hmmm who is this? Lol

And remember...i said a lil

Here's my deal, Gaga.  I've told my friends if I announce I'm getting married again they are to shoot me.  The only exception to this is if I tell them I'm marrying a hooker who will continue to provide, and who has agreed to an open marriage where we both get to play with hookers, either singly or as a couple.  Scoed taught me this.  I think it's a fine plan.

I find the question appaling. Love can never b bought. Money can however b that 1 facet that sparks an interest. Love is emotional; money is superficial.

Money does make life easier but love makes life worth living

Still having problems getting laid? Being the only biddy in a boys locker room should have solved that problem. Or is it your clear disdain for other women who have surpassed you on the success scale? Or maybe your choice of nigger luvin handles?

NO. Of course you cant buy love.

If youre lucky enough to actually find 'real' love in the real world at all...you better hang on and never let it go. You were blessed.

Real love exists in extreme rarity...noone in this world knows what it is...thats obvious or your ass and mine wouldnt be here. Period.

-- Modified on 7/19/2013 8:36:23 PM

Agree you can't buy it.  You can buy imitations of it, but not the real thing.

Disagree that no one know what it is.  Some of us have seen it, experienced it, and can even practice it, but it is a little different for each person.  But if you find that you want what is best for another person and are willing to help them achieve it, even at great personal cost, then you truly love them.

It is even found within the context of the hobby (on both sides of the envelop).  How many stories have been told, or have you seen of providers and hobbyists sacrificing to help one another.  They may be rare, but they are out there.  But understand that just because you love someone does not mean you will, or even want to marry them.  I have loved more than a few women in the civilian world, most of whom I never slept with.  Many of whom our lives only touched briefly.  But all of whom I would still help if I could.

It is not that I am a white knight, I simply have the unfortunate ability to see the good in people.  It also took me a LOOOONG while to understanding the difference between helping and enabling.

People love and help others everyday as having it just be who they are as people...their makeup as an individual. I am one of them. I dont feel right if I dont do that on a daily occurrence.

But you are mistaking that kind of love with the rare love that I am talking about. If and a big if you were one of the lucky ones in this world to actually find your true soulmate...I mean the real one not the convenient one who lives next door and you think she or he is 'the one' made just for you..Big No...it doesn't happen like that and deff not supposed to be that easy.

My point is the rare love is just that....rare. People get married everyday to someone they barely know....people stay with someone they barely know. Not one person in this hobby world knows the true love I speak or they wouldn't be here....no f'n way because if you are lucky enough to find it you wouldn't need to substitute it with other things on any level...you are completely satisfied. Everyone here is NOT satisfied for whatever reason...myself included. Its called one thing....

Insatiable.

Now if anyone could actually claim to have found that real love and their soulmate and still be here in this world....they're a fucking idiot in my book.

You can create an incredible time of passion and lust with one another that you could easily mistake it for love!

Love can't be bought!  It happens when two people have that magical connection and decide to take it to a different place...it cannot remain in this hobby.
If you feel that with someone and decide to see if it's more you must remove the money. If you even consider the other person based on their income that's nothing more than a gold digger and again your clouded by monetary value not your heart!

Love can and does happen when you least expect it. If you go into this hobby life looking for it you will be hurt more often than not!

if instead you allow loving feelings and passion greater than just a hot fuck it can be confused with falling in love for real. This is what makes some of us more intense than others but it doesn't mean you bought true love. You bought love for the moment!

Real love takes work not just feelings!!!

... is the love of money.
