The one crumby review among many.

This question is more one asking other hobbyists their speculations on this matter, as I’m pretty sure that most providers will be uniform in their response.  When perusing reviews, I have noted that even providers with long and stellar review histories almost invariably have quite a negative review tucked in every 15 or 20 reviews or so.  On rare occasions, it seems that a provider was stupid enough to send in their place an obviously different provider to take a call.  Where this wasn’t the case, my theory is that the guy writing the bad review just did not click well with the lady, whatsoever.  I now speculate that perhaps the guy writing it is some fat, smelly, drunk, or psycho creep that most any lady would tend to reject out of hand.  When I have time, I intend to cross-reference these guys’ other reviews to see what sort of ratings they gave what sort of ladies in the past.  In any case, I no longer regard one rotten review every 15-20 stellar ones as anything more than sampling error.

Lots can happen to ruin a session, not all of it is the providers fault. Some guys are harsh on top of that and everyone has an off day. One review out of 15 or so reviews is not statistically significant enough to bother me.

A handful of bad reviews out of an overwhelming number of outstanding ones is so insignificant it isn't even worthy of consideration, IMHO.  Granted, those few bad reviews COULD give a subtle clue or two to look out for during a session, but I wouldn't let that stop me from seeing her if I were interested.  (Like scoed said, the lady could've just been having an off day, or the client could've been a real troglodyte, or any of a hundred different things that wouldn't normally happen.)

You know there are times I am not not running on all cylinders and my time with a lady may not be as great as I like. Well then I will not write a review. I wait and if I see her a second time, I will write it based on the second experience.

Then there are the guys who want something a gal does not want to provide and they write a bad review even though the gal did not offer that service. Or the gal tells a guy to stop and he won't stop, even after saying she will reduce the donation just to get away...

I know someone recently had a bad review like the above.  I told her it won't matter in the long run as she continues to get stellar reviews from everyone else.

For example, I just looked at the stellar review list of one provider, stretching back years.  Hidden in amongst them was a single "2" meaning "should have stayed home."  Well...right...he should have.  I throw it our automatically.  It's what's called an outlier.  Even an occaisonal 7 among solid  8s, 9s and 10s isn't important because some people just grade differently.  You can read the actual review and find it's a rave.  It's like in college where some profs grade on a curve.

There can be SO many reasons for a bad encounter on a particular visit.  It does not necessarily mean anything wrong with the lady or her visitor.  Sometimes, they just don't click, as simple as that.

Even if a one odd bad review was due to the provider's poor performance, it is quite ok.  Providers are human too.   Someday, if she "just laid there" maybe there was a valid reason for that.  Maybe, she was too emotionally distraught or distressed about something in her private life.  We all have our good days & bad days.

When I read the reviews, I always ignore the best one as well as the worst one.

I had no idea of what I was doing at first. No idea of expectations. Many providers start with the guidance of a friend, I didn't; I was on my own, made my own mistakes... then I stayed home with my mom for 2 months during one winter without any physical activities and ate everything she fed me so I gained a lovely 20 pounds. I got the fat reviews for a while. I'm now very thin and people still think I have some baby fat... So over the years a lady and her service can change.

Looking at all these tales of how a provider can't help herself.  So, have we become such limp wrists that we don't give a fuck if we get our money's worth?  We've all heard tales about the guy that was a drunken asshole, or an abusive douche bag.  Still, if you've read more than 3 reviews, you can separate the guy that nobody will please from the chick that starts moaning the minute you walk in the door, or stares at the ceiling wondering when the painters will arrive.  I've written reviews that differed from the crowd before and caught some shit for them.  Still, when the same issue creeps up every 10th or so review, I say it's her.  Maybe I'm not 100% correct, but I'm 100% sure that I'm not pulling cash out of my wallet to find out.  With 680,000+ reviews here, why are we trying to convert a girl that has mostly good reviews?  I'm pretty sure that there's a lady with solid reviews in your area to pick from.

So, for you it's all or nothing?  Say, two reviews out of 100 are negative, and the girl is worthless (so to speak)?  Sorry, but I doubt that most of us see things in such simplistic terms.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go put a brace on my "limp wrist."

I'm talking more about a chick with, say 50 reviews, and there's one iffy one per page.  My forgiveness factor doesn't go that high, unless there's a serious compromise to her rate structure, relative to her local market.  There are just too many ladies trying to keep busy at this time of year to take a chance that I'm with someone that "won't click".  I'm a legend in my own mind, but if I'm paying, click or damn well make me believe we click.

A bad review can take a monetary toll and some reviewers will take advantage of that. Maybe it went down something like the Sasha Grey "Girlfriend Experience" movie did. The reviewer looking to get something for nothing.
Or, maybe the reviewer just had overly high expectations based on the post coital glow built into many of the reviews on the site.
2 or more in close date range would be an issue. Otherwise it's a statistical blip.

Just curious, but why "fat" as a pejorative that will predispose one to unfairly posting a negative review. I'm fat, but I'm also clean, sober, and more sane than most. I'm also successful, pretty loaded, and treat the providers better than the way I treat my wife. Again, just curious...

There will always be even if you screen a jackass that comes through and it's been my fault I will admit to let them stay for the sake of being nice and then there are some that are vindictive etc and use the "power" they have which is the power of a review and we know especially with our most active members whether they are true or fake or fudged can be very picky about them. But still yes at the same time we'd like to think most like you would look @ how the majority of the reviews are but there will be those who will feel they might have an ymmv time which is understandable. Sometimes it's not always if he didn't click with her & if he didn't he should leave..... sometimes some guys are just are giant a**es....happens.

Ladies I have seen...  Favorites I will see again...  occasionally get a low review (or sometimes so out of wack as to be simply nasty).  I suspect they are false...  revenge for the would-be hobbiest being refused for good cause.
I am quite willing to meet with such a lady.

IF however I see repeated review swings...  Up & down all over the page...  I get the impression she likes a certain type or is moody.  Face it I'm no longer slim trim stud & do not care for gambling.  So I decline a provider with inconsistant reviews.  (Realizing that reviews are subjective & impossible to use a number ranking...  I just read them & decide for myself.)

While I do read all the reviews to get a general idea what she's like, I usually ignore the really great and the really bad reviews (unless there is a recurring pattern) and concentrate on the overall experiences others have had. A truly bad review makes for interesting reading but let's be honest - we all have bad days occasionally; why should a provider be any different?

restaurants with the best service.  They always have something to bitch about.  Same goes for women.  For whatever reason they are not satisfied.  The guy may have had a bad day at work, at home, or whatever.  Also, the chemistry may have been off.  Regardless of profession, nobody can say they are at their absolute 100% best EVERY day.

Experienced hobbyists will read multiple reviews to get an idea of your performance level.  One bad review every so often is not a deterant.

I dunno...all my reviews are stellar.  Of course, what else are they gonna say...?????

In my case I'm not a smelly, drunk psycho creep. I'm not as slender as I once was, but I'm not what anyone would call a large guy either.
I've concluded that the most recent experience I had like that was due to these three simultaneous things:

1) Me not being the same as her other clients.
2) She and I just not clicking.
3) Her having an off night (partly due to 1 and 2).

Now I didn't write a horrific review or anything, and I try to always give the benefit of the doubt, and I hope the other clients like me out there will know she isn't our type.
But yeah it threw her curve off a bit.
