I returned to TER after a long break and I find I could spend my entire work day here quite easily (I'm self employed thank goodness).  And, that's nearly what I have done for the past few days.  With that said, I feel that I have only scratched the surface of what's actually available.  

When you take into account the reviews, discussion boards, and online chats there is an outright cornucopia of content here and that's only the beginning.  Once you get into the content then you actually see where the real value is.  The real value is in the ability to build relationships that make our chosen activity much safer and much more enjoyable.  There is also the aspect of reliving an encounter by sharing it with others as well as hearing about the exploits of others in our community.

Is it possible that the combination of like minded people (both provider and hobbiest) create a synergy through this online environment that is nearly as engaging as the actual encounter themselves?  TER gives the alternative lifestyle a virtual life that I and many others simply would not have any way of experiencing without it.

Am I alone or does anyone else admit to their TER addiction?

LOL, it's definitely on my "favorites"list! I'm self employed as well and spend a fair amount of time in front of my computer both when working and not working. I check in here a few times a day and it's seldom boring!

I'm self employed also, and have many little breaks during the day; none long enough to read through long threads or post long messages, but enough time to stay interested and involved.

You might start noticing some trends as you get to know the "top ten posters". I too have no job and no wife. I own my own company and am very happily divorced. I can spend all day in front of the computer if I so choose, and as you can tell from my post count, some days I do. lol

But, I'm easily distracted. For instance, if a neighbor came over with a bottle of what-ever to drink, you wouldn't see me for a while.

OR, if a lovely lady wanted to come over and 'service' me for a change, yeah, you wouldn't hear a peep outta my ass for a while either.
