Acceptable Risk Threshold

Not exactly a newbie in the hobby. Have seen some remarkable women over the years. The following question may seem like a rookie one however, and perhaps it is…

The prelude: out of an abundance of caution I have done all of my hobbying through a third party screening site that uses “Okays” in order to make my introductions (backed up of course by careful reading of reviews here first); but now I find myself enticed by two agencies near me that do not accept this level of screening…

Instead they each demand a copy of a drivers license, alongside a paystub to gain entrance. They are well known agencies that have been around for years and attract some of the best talent in the area where I reside. My question to you all is this:

Would you yourself give this level of information to an agency to gain entrance?

In the past, I would have considered this to simply be too much information to share. I enjoyed having at least some level of “insulation” so to speak where an agency that got in trouble would have minimal information on me besides of course basic assurances that I was indeed a good and vouched for client that would not compromise the safety of the women they represent in any way…

However, there is a bit of a drought in visiting independents in the local scene as of late, and I am wondering if I am being too hesitant.

I do not have a spouse or career in a field where my reputation would be ruined if somehow my name appeared on a leaked client list. If anything, my coworkers would laugh or high five me. My closest friends and even one family member already know. So I find myself questioning why I am bothering to be quite so meticulous in flying under the radar.

Follow up question: what is the worst case scenario if I do provide this information in order to book an appointment?

Thank you very much for your time and may all your trysts be happy ones.

If you are already a member of the site that uses okays then you went through similar screening. I don’t see indies or agencies who require more screening than that. I’ve lived in places that didn’t have a lot of selection. I would just go take a trip and get my fill. Fmty was also done. Now I’m back in a heavily populated area so it’s not an issue.

So no I would not.

In short, no fucking way.

Next, they'll want copies of three years of Form W-2.

You have no idea as to how this info will be used, stored, transmitted or disposed of.

No Fucking Way

What is this, a credit application?

I know I’m not a client but no, I’m not giving up that kind of information to anyone. I’m uncomfortable enough with the information I have already provided to be verified as a provider on certain sites.

The paystub is kind of weird.  A driver's license and LinkedIn profile is standard for a lot of providers.  I've done it numerous times and never had a problem.   Also DL and work website.

Regarding  an  "ID"  requirement,  I'm  even  suspect  of
this  request  due  to  many  "Data  breaches"  aka  the
"Ashley  Madison"  debacle.

I  do  not  even  partake  in  Advertising  my  Companionship
on  any  Sites  such  as  "P411",   "Tryst",  nor  "Private  Delights",
which  indeed  require  an  "unconcealed",  "full-disclosure"
copy  of  my  "Real  Driver's  License"  to  join.

Therefore  I  would  never   allow  any  Agency  nor  Site  to
require  a  "paystub",  even  with  the  concealment  of  my  SS#.

It's  an  unnecessary  invasion  of  privacy,  which  I'm  not  willing
to  take  the  risk  vs.  the  "rewards",  period!

I would not send an unredacted copy of my DL -- face, year of birth and first name but everything else redacted. I would suggest just asking them if alternative screening options are possible.

As for risks, the risk related to legal issues just because the agency might have that, get busted and then LE reviews it is very low in my opinion. LE is going to want and need more substantial evidence, like video of you going in and coming out of the location at the times the phone records indicate a session was scheduled. But they can get that the the booker's phone records and a burner phone number and fake name is not helping at all.

For me, the biggest risk would be that you give up sufficient PII that would allow identity theft. You don't want someone either collecting any tax refund or reporting income on your SSN. Or doing something like taking a loan in your name and you're on the hook to pay or deal with legally proving it wasn't you. Clearly in your case they are not going to blackmail you. I don't think either of these are very likely with a well established agency that has a good business going.

I am very much in the same boat as you, in that I'm not worried about anyone actually finding out so blackmail is not a risk so I don't really worry about giving some information up to local agencies here which I don't think have any plans, desire or really any incentive to try using it other than for their own screening needs. I would not give what I've given to some of the agencies I'm with to independents as a general rule. I see that as a numbers game -- the more people you interact with the higher the odds of find the bad ones.

I myself have been a long term client of the OK community. Back in the day it worked like a charm for many years. I was able to see almost anyone across the USA after providing  my (OK info ) . But then Gina took a back seat for a while and then eventually sold out  ( bless her for the great work she did for years )  When I signed up with the OK sight they knew more about me than the IRS, particularly because I was self employed and a business owner. The amount of info I had to give up was very scary.
I am on the same wavelength as the poster, when is enough- an enough ?  Twice over the past three years I have sent a sent a provided a highly redacted picture of my licenses with masking tape over everything but my picture and my date of birth.  Both times I was in a tough spot , traveling with no provider pre scheduled. I regret doing it both times as we all know what the small head will do to you.  Almost always you can find a reasonable provider in any area who doesn't do this stupid stuff with advance notice and planning. I would love to hear from others how they deal with this issue. This post is not about being combative to providers, I recognize they need to be safe also. Looking for fair answers rather than an argument

To be clear we as providers have to give all of that personal information as well when we register and post ads. Not sure of your definition of a "reasonable provider who doesn't do this stupid stuff" means. My incall is my home. I have had guys contact me for an appointment that through my screening process I found out they were wife beaters, rapists, or pedophiles. Obviously I did not book with them, but how do you think we as providers are supposed to keep ourselves safe from individuals like this without doing screening? But I also know from the client's perspective that it is becoming more and more difficult to know who is a real provider and who is a scammer. As a provider I get a guy now and then who contacts me that I know is just a time waster but I also know he is not going to blackmail me, steal my identity, or scam me out of $$. Unfortunately this is going to continue to happen while sex work is illegal. The majority of the world sex work is legal or decriminalized. Guess what the scammers do in those countries? They set up shop in the US where guys have no recourse. I am not sure anyone has the answers at this point with the current environment we have to work in.

…but i stay away from all agencies because with the new “human trafficking” and “all women are victims no matter what” narrative out there, agencies are prime targets for law enforcement because they want the clients, which are usually higher end. And the last such law was passed under Trump I so in order to throw a bone to women voters we may see another such law aimed at “human trafficking.” It is the one thing feminists and evangelicals enjoy.

There is a post floating around here where a guy said he was accosted by cops when he came out of a provider’s location and they were asking him all kinds of questions and saying that he was seen coming out of the place of a known prostitute…all agencies have a target on them imo.

I would not share a paystub with anyone.....especially on line....also NOPE on Drivers License on line.......too many obvious chances for your info to end up hacked......I never really minded showing a gal my drivers license and back in the day was sometimes asked for my plane ticket.......but none of this would be shared to an unknown individual on line.......when you have a chance to look behind  he scenes you would find that a lot of gals  handlers are not folks you would want to have easy access to your stuff....easy to sell---easy to use, etc.........you get it..>>!!

Im retired  and the screener told me I had to give him my systems from my social security payments. What an idiot.

The reason is obvious: when LE busts an indy they get only two arrests, at most, the girl and the monger. When they bust an agency they may get several girls and also management. It makes for a much bigger splash in the papers, as happened some years ago in NYC with a large, very well-known agency that I'm sure still can't be named. A girl I used to see got caught up in that one.
The only thing more likely to get busted is an AMP.

Looking for what others think. I see facetime or any recorded video as the biggest threat of all. I have never done facetime and never will. It seems to me that in some point of the video call, Sex, meeting up or some type of incriminating words will be recorded from one or both parties. No lawyer in the world can get you out of a video like that. Anyone see this under a different lens or viewpoint ?

And Fuck No!

Determine your own risk tolerance, but this sounds like bullshit to lil' ol' me. I won't give either from of ID, but for sake of argument, let's say I was willing to disclose my ID.  Now you know my name, address and ID number.  What Earthly purpose could providing employer information add, other than to provide a blackmail or harassment opportunity.  Fuck that noise.

And accepts no references. Ie, you can't get around these requirements. Even if a girl knows you and can vouch for you, they will still won't let you in.

Needless to say, this is the only org that I miss out on. Ain't no way I'm providing my ID AND paystub to them.

have changed their policies.  I was approved with all of the BA orgs by texting a girl who was currently working there and asking her to get me approved to see her with the booker.  She texts the booker, says she has seen me in OC or LA and I want to see her there, so he should let me book.  She gives my first name and my hobby phone number so he will know who I am when I call or text.  If the booker doesn't respond to me, I will text the girl again.  Once this session is over, the bookers let me see any other girls on their roster.  I have used this method all over the country to get approved.  It does take patience, because I have to wait until there is a girl working there that I know from somewhere else, but these were all done years ago and many of the girls are retired now, but I'm still established with the booker by way of my continuing patronage.   A booker's job is to keep the girls safe, not restrict their business with customers they know from other places they have worked.

It's one specific org and yes they became stricter back around five years ago when they had a scare. Since then it's a very strict policy. Many mongers did get grandfathered in.

The person who runs the org (a former kgirl herself) rules it with an iron fist. The org used to be pretty exclusive with offerings but now we see girls from it go to other orgs.

It's probably the last of big orgs in this area where the owner rules it like that.

If they don't want your business, somebody else will.  Don't sweat it.

There is no reason not to name it.

I would not consider P411 to be a "third party screening site". I've seen very, very few ladies who do not accept membership there with a certain number of okays as clearance to meet them, but I have encountered a number who do not accept membership there.

When I joined there in 2017 (based on a referral from a provider) I provided ZERO personal information. I don't know how it's done now, or if a provider referral obviates the need for providing PI, but I did not provide anything when I joined.

I joined after you and I didn’t have a provider vouch. So you have to go through more screening.

I'm not providing a pay stub to anyone. That's a big no. This isn't in line with what most agencies or independenets do. I don't feel it's necessary.

The ID part I don't mind under one condition. They are okay with me covering both my address and license #. I prefer to do this with an independent though. Some agencies claim they don't retain this information, but this can be hard to trust. Agencies tend to be more likely to get busted and turn over client information.

wichitalineman66 reads

not retain the information.  On one hand, it's simple human nature to keep something that may be of value down the road, especially if it doesn't take any effort.  To that point, to get rid of it does take effort and although minimal, it's still something and if a person is busy or procrastinates or simply gets distracted, the info remains on hand.

Agree that you need to redact certain information on any DL/ID you might provide. But I would say look very carefully at that DL/ID. I know mine not only has the easily visible ID #, along with birth date, issued date and expiration date (which in my State tend to all coincide) but has some very small, micro text, that has the ID # as well in watermarks and the hologram.

So I just leave first name, the main picture, year of birth and redact everything else. Even things like class of licenses.

Absolutely, details and how they appear can vary from state to state. It’s important to make sure what you want covered up truly is. Pretty sure, my name, picture, DOB, issue date, and if I am an organ donor is what remains.

I'm not sure which agencies you're thinking about using but I have an idea what kind it is
And I hope this post doesn't go off into some political shit storm
But consider the current climate with DHS coming to a city or town near you, it'll be inevitable in time when some of these agency could get pop'd. Fearing the risk of deportation to gawd who knows where I'm pretty sure the owner, booker or even the girls might sing like a canary to save their skin. I'm also sure someone will want to see the list, kinda killing two birds with one stone.
I'm alittle concerned in that few months ago I sent my redacted DL (they didn't ask for more)to an agency, all went well but now, just the thought on what's going on,I'd be leery of sending anything other then my name, age, race and a few references if they ask going forward.
Now, allow me to put my COO hat on...think about this. I hope this doesn't come off as a lecture...because I'm too old for that
I don't know what is you do for a living. But if the company's money is involved where you're a purchaser, a contract negotiator or a CFO for a small company then the company knowing what you do for kicks can be problematic. Yes the bros in the warehouse will get a kick out of it. You'd be “Da Man” but upper management will look at you differently. May not be the best career move, if you're in the position to make financial decisions.
I'd keep this shit on the down low..Just a thought

Im pretty sure whatever political climate is going on. These agency’s won’t give three fucks about turning anything in when it comes down to it. I’d even say that goes for independents or mongers. When it comes down to it people will save their own asses.

I think this ties right into this conversation. Yesterday I received a unsolicited email from a provider I don't know and have not contacted. She is just my type however, Late 20 - mid 30s, Blonde, Hot. The first red flag was this.

We'd also need screening info (choose one):

• 2+ provider references (seen within the last 18 months, with an active online presence)

• Work email (I can give you a discreet email if needed)

• Other employment proof + U.S. driver’s license (you may cover the license number and first line of address, but I'd need the rest)

Most providers want a lot less on the DL in my opinion. I went on to check her out and found that her so called Tryst add was a fake and went to some type scam site. She did have a website with pictures but never showed her face ( kind of normal ) .  Her TER number was to a provider I had seen the night before ?  Not sure what to make of that ?  And she had a twitter sight that worked. Maybe it was just one of those things but for me it was a good reminder to protect your DL at all cost.  Thoughts ?

No reputable provider is going to send you an unsolicited email asking for your screening info and to book an appointment, especially if she is as good looking as you say she is. That is not a thing. You don't need to go any further.

There was a booker I used to see a couple of ladies. She wasn't completely honest and was on the aggressive side. She followed up multiple times asking if I wanted to book another appointment. I told her I wasn't interested in using her services any longer.

A couple of months later, I got a WhatsAp message from an escort I had never seen. She said she got my info from an escort friend of hers who I had seen. I checked and saw she had a few decent TER reviews. I decided to take a chance and booked an appointment with her, which was my mistake.

She wasn't the lady in the pics and wasn't GFE like she claimed. She was decent looking and the session was okay, so not a total fail. It reminded me a lot of the aggressive booker. Her classic deceptions was writing reviews under fake profiles she created, using pictures that were not her ladies (but not super far off), and being slightly off in services.

But the kicker was after the appointment. Just like always, she followed up asking me if I had a good time. Then, she said, if I am interested she has lots of friends and sent pictures of a bunch of them. And really, who sends their clients pictures of all of their friends? And what do you know, I recognized some of them from my days with the aggressive booker. It was her. I should have known something was up when I got an unsolicited message on WhatsAp.

You would be a fool to think 💭 you’re not at jeopardy. Regardless if you had to submit real life information to be on this particular website. The fun fact is a provider who is not a big #’s gal meaning lots of entertainment, nor does she offer her own dwelling to entertain its less, likely to attract unnecessary attention. 🚩

Everyone operates differently. To each their own. If you read & watch you can learn from other people’s mistakes. Phoenix AZ just had a bust of a mature provider who was operating out of her home for way too long & letting others utilize her incall that’s no bueno.

I am no longer offering duos. I prefer to keep my circle ⭕️ small. I highly doubt it’s a large risk for those who don’t entertain daily, weekly, or monthly.  Do you.

Thread has largely taken off on a tangent so thought I'd just ask.
