I do enjoy being single. I come and go at will, nobody to answer to. I get to meet whoever I choose to at a time that works for me.
With that said, their is a part of me that totally enjoys being in a relationship. Especially if we compliment each other. I don't need anyone to fill a void, make me feel whole, etc.

How about lower stress because they don't have to listen to the constant chatter. A friend of mine has a beautiful wife, even though she's had 2 kids she is still in great shape. She's a damn good cook. But, my goodness, this woman can't handle 10 seconds of silence. Each time I leave their house I think "hurray for the sound of silence, sure am glad I don't have to listen to that constant chatter every day". They say opposites attract, he speaks very little, probably because he can't get a word in edge wise with her.

That's according to an article I read earlier this morning (sorry, I don't have the link). I found out the hard way that a good relationship doesn't necessarily stay good, and a bad relationship is worse than being alone. I'm now very content. I'm actually going to a dating workshop later today, but if I don't hook up with anyone, no biggie...I'll be seeing my ATF in another week. That's the beauty of the hobby, it takes some of the stress off of being single. And I can have a good time all by myself, like I did at the Black Sabbath concert last night.
You can't just say "Single people are this way," and "Married people are that way."
To me, the the "having a fuck friend" needs to be part of the equation in order to be meaningful.
Examples:
Single people with fuck friends tend to have X incident of heart disease. Versus Single people without fuck friends Versus Married people Versus Married people who have fuck buddies
