Sometimes, well-meaning loved ones do things that are not helpful to the trauma survivor.

It's outrageous that this guy got a pass on beating his wife. She suffered abuse for many years. Our sometimes feckless "justice" system allows people get away with too much for too long until they eventually commit the ultimate crime.

Wow...just pathetic. Yes, our justice system tells victims they pretty much have to wait to be in a coffin before anything can be done. "Get a restraining order." Yea, that helps...they just end up getting more pissed off and the children are victims too.
I remember going to vigils when I was 15 for them and wondering how the families could cope and if and how the girls could survive. I'm very excited they are safe now.... Very happy about it.
One of the worst CD's I ever picked up if anyone has ever had a bad choice in buying a movie it was titled Girl Next Door with a picture of a girls face on the cover looking kinda wild. Without reading the preview o the jacket I bought it thinking it was a GFE movie.Not the case. This movie is sick and shows a girl held hostage by her aunt who has neighborhood boys come rape her , she is treated the exact same way tied up and having to sleep on bed coils she dies in the end . I couldn't sit through the whole movie without fast forwarding it hoping for a somewhat decent ending . What puzzled me is who would produce something like this and for what reason? Flicks like this one are sometimes what triggers a sick person to do the same.
