My first thought was how this was going to affect my budget.
My second thought was how this was going to affect my ability to get to where I want to be.
My final thought was profound gratitude that it happened one morning in my own driveway, not some place I could not explain being!

Before the SO says get it in gear and get out of here.

The good news is that you were not on your way to meet a date.  Got to always look as if the glass is half full.

now You have a Great excuse to buy a new car!!Yea...for You ;)

The closest I came was when I grabbed the wrong set of keys, and couldn't unlock my "club," after having just had a session at an AMP. My car was parked right in back, so it was a bit embarrassing calling AAA.

In fact there have been stories where the club was stolen, and the car left in place.

But this whole topic does bring up an interesting issue.  What if your car does break down somewhere you are not supposed to be?   What about a speeding ticket on a road where you do not normally go?   Or even a parking ticket?  I guess you could pay that one without any issue, but still it is a pain the ass.

except when coming home from where I'm not supposed to be.  It's times like those that my "gramma moses" inner self comes out.

for your car.

Just driven by a guy coming home from the hobby!

It took him more than fifteen minutes with a motorized tool to cut through it.

But, you're right about it bringing up a good issue. It's got me thinking about which providers I can visit using public transit. :)

Now, I just have to make certain that I don't have a major medical issue arise during a visit. And, then there's the worst case scenario of dying of a heart-attack while in bed with a lady.

Strictly from the client side,  what a way to go.
No more questions asked and go out with a bang.

all those around me. Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I don't. :)

I told them my gears were grinding so this woman mechanic told be she'd be out to lube my joints and wipe my dipstick.

And that's the honest truth honey!

When I think of all the places I have been over the years that I shouldn't have I consider myself lucky when my battery dies in my driveway instead of the parking lot of a hotel 100 miles away....

no excuse to stay home. No excuse not to hobby. Taking a work vehicle to a 'meeting' is tax deductible.
