Okay ladies...   I was wondering if you would share your most memorable date.   What did he do and why was this memorable for u.   Always looking for good ideas...

Most memorable one for me was definitely 15 days on a desert island paradise in the Maldives!

But for more day-to-day appointments, one client treated me for my birthday by picking me up in a Lotus he'd borrowed for the occasion, the inside was decked in ribbon which I had to cut to signify the official start of my birthday celebrations, I was handed a mini bottle of champagne with a straw and off we went.  We ate in a wonderful restaurant overlooking the River Thames, at a table right by the floor-to-ceiling windows so we could see the great view.  Then I was driven back home and dropped off.  The fact he'd been so thoughtful and gone to such effort was what made it really special.

Btw, while the Lotus was great, getting in and out of such a low sports car with dignity is an almost impossible task - especially in a short dress and stockings!

Dear Carrie,

These are depressing days. Why don't you make my day!  Post a picture of yourself, in a really really really short skirt, coming out of a Lotus, or even a mini-miner! I am the quintessential legman, and you could make me  happy. If I came to London, I will be all yours, both my wallet, and my flawless body!  And of course my soul Ms. Mephistopheles.

I spend the summer of 1974 in England [Brighton/St. Leonard].  Beautiful girls, with wonderful skins, not damaged with the sunray like our Southern California beauties.  I was young, handsome, and every night would go to those pubs of yours, would walk away with a babe!

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la...
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

If you see Mary Hopkins, give her a passionate kiss on my behalf, and make sure grab her butt at the same time!

Being on the yacht of a very nice gentleman in Seattle..seeing the whales and seals..sipping a glass of wine on the deck..sunning nude in quiet bays..

Another highlight was a trip to Monaco and being brought to the airport in Nice by helicopter..
BUT the most memorable date I keep for myself..

Jeez! Guess I'll never be anyone's most memorable date at this rate. No yacht or lutus-toting friends here. I'll just have to get by on charm and wit ...

Ah, but Omniseeker, the beauty of the date I've described is not the fancy sports car at all but the thoughtfulness of the other bits of the evening.  Could have been a normal, old car but the fact it was decked in ribbon and I was handed champagne and made to feel like a queen made it so special.  All it takes is a bit of planning, imagination and consideration and off you go!!  Doesn't need to be fancy or expensive at all :)

Ok then - let it be charm, wit and pancakes.

I suppose if I were to cross the pond to see you I'd be planning something special as well - how do you feel about Toyotas?  LOL
