The TER boards are fair and liberal. The rules are at the top of the page. Just be respectful and follow the rules and you'll never have to worry about getting moderated or banned.

A less harsh smackdown than complete banning (which actually doesnt appear to happen all that often unless someone is really trying to make a pest of themselves) is to be moderated. All new users are moderated (their posts do not show up on the boards until the moderator approves them) and some after demonstrating restraint and good judgement in their postings (not to imply that they need to agree with anyone or hold certain points of view, just that they seem responsible enough not to be disruptive for disruptiveness's sake) they can be unmoderated. Their postings show up immediately. If they abuse that privilige, they can be re-moderated.
