It amazes me when men say "well she's a hooker, so what do you expect" or "What do you expect from a girl that sells sex" I'll keep a 100% and if affects my business it does if it's doesn't all well. I never sugar coat or need an alias to say anything. If that's the way you see this why do you part take in it? It's like me being a drug addict and at the same time bash drug dealers. If I feel so strongly about something like that why do drugs. At the end of the day what I will say (no offense to men that think this way) is that at the end of the day I'm the drug dealer giving you, your daily dose to make go through the day. I'm not calling you, I'm not looking for you so with that in mind, If I'm stupid for being a hooker what would that make the men that see it disgusting and are soliciting. At the end of the day I'm not paying you to see me am I?  

Sometimes I wonder if men that make comments like that have ever step foot in a classroom. Then you have girls that read it and instead of being wonderful like they started they become robotic, well there goes that mystery as to why they become that way

Truth be told some of my very best friends are hookers.  

When I use the word hooker it's NOT a term of disparagement. Now if I call a woman a "courtesan" or some such shit, it most likely means I think she is needlessly full of herself. Similarly if I call a guy a Hobbyist, most likely he is a PC POS that I have no respect for. Most men who do this I refer to as mongers or johns.

There are a lot of guys here who have no respect for hookers, and it must be very conflicting for them to be "forced" to lower themselves to satisfy their urges that they can't seem to satisfy without HAVING to pay. Most guys here who really don't like hooker, really don't like themselves very much either, and they are pretty easy to spot.

I don't have a problem with the wording I have a problem with ppl who are in the lifestyle and still look down on it, so why do it. You are absolutely right, there are men that I wouldn't take a million dollars to be a second in their brain.

while very well stated, your post is akin to asking one the meaning of life.  People are often complex and not always in the best way.

While there is no need to cave in or yield to those who are disrespectful, if we put things in the proper perspective, we can only pity them.  Here they are, with this need, no matter how you describe it, and they have access to some amazing ladies who are willing to help them satisfy it.

Have stated this before in many of my posts, we should truly respect and appreciate those ladies who sometimes take significant risks to service this need.  How many irritable, unappreciative men, somehow lighten the load and end up with a somewhat better perspective, simply because a provider allowed them to let off some steam........both figuratively and literally?

How many men who are so involved in their jobs and have little time for anything else, have the luxury of fitting in one of their most basic needs on their own schedule, simply because a provider accommodates their schedule?

How many men lack the social grace or the skills to string two coherent syllables together yet are still able to.......you guessed it, satisfy a very vital need.........simply because a provider looked past their poor personalities to satisfy their most basic need?

How many men are so unattractive........ok, I will stop there.

But sadly, Roxanne, some of us do not appreciate the most obvious things in life we SHOULD appreciate, and some of the posters on this website are prime examples of that fact in action.

Please know, for every ungrateful hobbyist, there are a ton more who do appreciate you and ladies like you, for providing an invaluable service to us all.

the people that look down on the other person in this (albeit artificial and business) relationship are people who have a very low opinion of the opposite sex, and of themselves as well.

i say "people" because there are supposed providers on this board that are constantly putting down clients in general (as stupid and naive) and also specifically trolling individual comments, insulting people for no reason other than to insult them.

imo anyone that engages in a relationship, business or otherwise, with some they don't respect, either individually or as a group, does not value themselves or their time, effort, energy and spirit.  elsewise they would be involved with people they respect.

i'm partly with gaga, i use the term hooker, but i also use the term provider, and i say monger, but also client.

i think sex work should be legalized and women should be allowed the agency over their own bodies, both in sex and reproductive choices.

I will routinely alternate between hooker, provider, sex worker, or even "women who do this for a living" and sometimes I will use several or even all those terms in the same post.

Are absolutely, without any doubt, my favorite people.

They make it possible that I will never again need to settle, and I can't express how appreciative that I am for that.

It's scary to wonder if I would have been one of the conflicted motherfuckers who feels the need to blame the hookers for his "problem."  Now, as a single atheist, I can love life, myself, human urges, and most importantly of all, I can love hookers.  Hell, I might as well throw in porn stars and strippers, too.  The women who engage in sex work are more positive about men than other women.  They're more worthy of my love, and love them I will.
