And, boy, has the world changed!  Mostly for the better.

Who here has retired the greatest number of times?

I've been here less than a year, and I already have one under my belt.

Gents? Ladies? Admit to your Favre-osity here ;)

...the original Favre is lighter tonight by $50K.  He can afford it.  But can he afford what his wife will fine him?????

Finding time for yourself and giving less to others makes you healthy. We all need that time to be able to open yourself up and be caring. One man told me how I listened to all his problems and engaged in conversation that helped him move to a better place in his life but never seemed to have a bad day myself. I never thought about it all that much but I will never let my hard times go on any of my friends shoulders. Yes, I just took 6 months to regroup and feel blessed I can do that. My very close friends went along for the ride and had no clue I was on vacation.

I've noticed no one ever really retires.  They just take a break.  I guess retiring sounds more dramatic.  Probably more guys will buy into a date if there's a looming retirement.

Certainly retirement is a temporary state here.

Aside from the Seinfeld-ism, the only time I engage in "the hobby" is when I'm not engaged in a civvie relationship. If she no longer satisfies my needs, we're done and then I might re-engage in our mutual pursuits. Having been in 7 civvie relationships since the divorce back in '92, it seems I will be continuing in the "hobby," as I have yet to find the right combination of elements in one woman to keep me fully engaged in an ongoing relationship.

Of course, there a few times where she decided *I* wasn't the "right combination of elements" as well, so the search goes on -- in the meantime, I will dabble when time and money allow. Since I've been doing this (off & on) for close to 20 years, it would seem Brett and I are running neck & neck -- although I have yet to engage in "sexting." ;)

I am almost embarassed to admit it but I have come back twice.

Frankly, the sex is so good....the thrill and excitement...and the unending search for the ultimate lady.....
