I start with TER ads for Andover/Tewksbury

Then go to P411 and search for providers in Andover/Tewksbury

then go to date_check and look for dates that post in Andover / Tewksbury

after that has failed go to BP but only with TER reviews and work in Andover/Tewksbury.

Unless, I am traveling in Hartford Ct. area. LO

How do you begin your search when you want to see a new provider?  

Do you go to a list you already have, or do you do something else?  

Are you most likely to use the ads pages here or Eros, GLS, Backpage, or some other place?  

Where is your favorite place and what is your favorite way to find new providers

TER Boston Ad page and P411 Massachusetts Ad page.  I scan them both regularly.  When a picture catches my eye, I read reviews.  If I like reviews she goes on my list.  I have a long "to see" list.  

A number of factors go into who I actually see, primarily convenience of location and scheduling.  Priorities vary depending on mood so there is no exact answer.

and check out the ad boards, then move to another site and check there.  The only way I go to Eros  is if there's a link to it in the ad or review I'm looking at.  Then I'll go to P411 and Date-Check and use their search functions.  I also will see who Aphrodite has in town.

Eros is also great, but I only see visitors for the most part. For your area, again, TER, P411 and Eros will be your best bet.

who do not know other well known providers personally

and that is the email I got from them about three weeks ago

Only to ask several clients how they became a member, I was tod that they just paid for it. (not a good answer)

Doesn't sound too safe to me..The guys do not seem to even be screened and there is no way I will ever know any other providers personally. I have about 30 reviews on two others board so it does baffle me.

A date check client does have to pay for membership, but they also have to be approved either by giving personal info, OR by being verified by member providers. I believe for a provider to get on, she needs to be verified by a provider member, or by several client members.

You should also look into P411. It is a better site than DC anyway, IMO. (lots of DC vs P411 threads on these boards)

I use the boards here (as I'm sure you'd find most posters would or else they would not be posting here), but also the P411 regional searches - that goes for at home or traveling.

I've also been contacted directly, which is fine if the provider is on TER or P411.

I have to admit I look over Backpage also sometimes, though I've never booked with anyone I found there.  It's more out of curiosity
