What is considered normal ED with age?sad_smile

I am confused whether my ED is just part of my aging or symptoms of something more serious? I realize this is subjective, because no matter how I describe my symptoms, they can be interpreted widely..  If you don't want to read the rest of my post, my question is it normal for someone in late 30's to be horny just 25% as often as you were in your peak ( say age 22)?

Essentially I feel I am only really horny once every two weeks. I can rub one out every other day or so, but that takes some effort. Until my early 30's, I would get horny every 2-3 days and had no problem rubbing one out every night. But in the past 1-2 years, things have taken quite a nosedive!

I got my testosterone levels checked through a saliva test you can order online. The results came back that my testosterone was above average for my age. So no problems there.

I am in my mid 30's, excellent health, not overweight or anything. no smoking, drinking etc, workout every other day. Get plenty of sleep, low stress job...

One thing is I eat a vegetarian diet, but eat lots of variety. I avoid soy products since I read they can raise your estrogen levels or something..

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything...the "D" in ED stands for dysfunction.  As in "not normal".

I am also in my late 30s and I am constantly horny (high libido).  If I wanted...I could rub it out 4-5 times daily.

Also...libido (sex drive) and ED are two distinct things.  You can have a perfectly functional Ferrari in your garage but no desire to drive it (low libido).  Or, you can have desire to drive it but the car doesn't work (ED).  Or, you can have both.

Were I you, I'd visit my doctor.  Your symptoms would not be 'normal' for me.  I also wouldn't trust the home chemistry set for the Low T test.

That, and a google search can yield some fairly good info:

Don't misinterpret me here...not saying 4-5 in a multi-pop/one sesh sort of manner.  Most I ever managed was 4 in a three hr session mainly b/c I premied rnd 1 within the first five minutes :D. (Something to be said for that). The other three rnds def took some work.

My comment above is more about my level of desire.  I want it all the time :).   I could have one for breakfast, one for lunch, and then a sensible trifecta for dinner :D

I wouldn't do that every day or I'd be sooooore.  My real daily is probably more like 2 or 3.  I tend to have much more powerful rnd 2 and 3....so, I've got incentive to work for em.  Rnd 1 is just the warm-up.

Proly not what u wanted to hear. The one thing u don't mention that is troubling is u don't mention seeing a doctor at all. Upon his evaluation he may recommend a specialist. I think the things you mention are certainly a cause for concern. So many factors can cause what u describe. Your age should not be a major factor as you are in your 30's but of course there is some fall off from when you were a teen. To be straight up with you, this is a fk board and not a medical advice board. Make an appt to see your doctor and go from there. Good luck.

You need to have a blood test done by a medical doctor.  Perhaps your internist or an endocrinologist.

Being horny or not has nothing to do with ED. I like secretme`s Ferrari analogy. Guys can be horny all the time and not be able to get it up, or guys can be able to get it up but not be horny. ED means you cant get or cant maintain an erection. While that may sometimes go hand in hand with being horny or not it is usually two seperate things.

Echoeing both earlier responses, SEE A DOCTOR. You can`t get diagnosed on a fuck board. and also as Secretme said, dont rely on the online saliva test. GEt a real T test, FROM A DOCTOR.

Bro, you have problems/issues . I'm over 35, and I rub one out a few times a day and literally CANNOT GET ENOUGH PUSSY.  I see a few girls a week, and always want more.    Something is wrong with you.

Just because you are maturing, does not mean there is something wrong with you mentally....physically, maybe but not all guys are led around by their c*cks. Oh sure, maybe in the hobby, but not all men think about sex 24/7. If you can't get aroused AT ALL, that's a problem, but I would not go slitting your wrist because the urge to fk anything that moves is no longer there every second. Many things can cause ED....stress, certain medications, any number of things can be attributed to it, so talk to your doctor. I would not be worried about what other hobbyists consider normal...what do YOU consider normal?

If not, I have read that there is some essential B vitamin (I forget exactly which one, but I'm sure you can find out.) that you are not getting and that could be a cause of the drop off in your sexual interest.

In any case, I would suggest that you consult a medical professional of some sort, or perhaps a licensed nutritionist for deciding what to do.

All you will get here are well meaning guesses.

And remember:  Free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Eat right, exercise, don’t drink excessively and you will last till 100. Being that said, there is condition called low testosterone causing low low libido. It is treatable;e, go see a urologist, they will run blood test. Diabetes also causes ED. Urologist will also send you to a GP for general checkup and blood test.

..but how much porn do you watch?  Lots of 20 and 30 year old guys that are suffering ED problems that were unheard of 30 years ago. High speed internet porn is turning guy's dicks into noodles in the bedroom.  Dr. Oz just covered the subject recently..  yourbrainonporn.com   will give you lots to think about.

on how our bodies function. I am barely 31, and suffer from extreme fatigue. I literally could fall asleep every day around this time, and I don't remember being like that 10 years ago when I actually worked all day. It seems odd that not doing shit, would make you ever more tired vs. running around all day, but many have found that to be true.

If I did not get off of TER for that 2 hours to work out and tan, I would literally do nothing but stare at the lake, and my computer screen. Other things like dust, pollen, and air pollution can even cause issues. It's crazy to see so many men suffering from ED, because when I was in high school and undergrad, it was rare that anyone had this issue...unless they had whiskey or cocaine d*ck lol.
