Hi gang, Just wanted to drop by and wish everyone a great week. I haven't been around much as I've been preparing for my gastric bypass surgery, set for June 9 down in Weston Florida.
I am so ready for this, as it is two years plus coming to fruition. I am thankful for the posts here and the members who have answered questions and become some great online pals in the last year.
I'll be home hopefully by Saturday, and I'll eventually let everyone know how I'm doing. (This of course is to keep all of you playing the Jimbomania Home Game updated to the latest news.)

One of the local shopkeepers in town weighed well over 450 pounds and carried oxygen tanks around with her. I spoke with her just Today and she has now lost over 200 pounds in just 18 months. I was amazed last month when I saw a news report about how many people have lost weight with this procedure only to gain all or more of it back. This surgery will help with the physical part, but the emotional part must also be dealt with for good long term results.
