Thanks to all those who provided responses (and not necessarily ANSWERS -- but very entertaining nevertheless, especially the brilliant anagrams) to my post about variable "non-negotiable" rate.

I never ever negotiate.  I pay what is asked, no questions asked.  I may tip but I will never ask for a discount.

My point was that if someone says the rate is $300 - $400 per hour, how do I know what I'm supposed to pay without asking certain questions that may get me in trouble with LE.  Such ad just confuses.  It seems to me it would have to lead to a negotiation.  I think the very first poster who advised never to hook up with a provider with such an ad got it right.

Just pay the $$$ and go for it - but be ready/willing to pony up the extra hun if needed.  If you try to do (or ask her to do) something that costs more, I'm sure she'll let you know. At least you know your entire exposure is an extra $.  Some ROBs charge $$$ just to let you into the room with them and try to bleed you from there, act by act with no upside. Naturally, flat fees are better because you know exactly what you have to pay.

Allow me to digress, but it is sort of on point.  I once went to a FBSM provider who solicited a tip for letting me touch her "anywhere".  I asked how much but she left it up to me.  Dumb move on her part.  When I tried to touch the particular area I was interested in, she said, "Oh no, anywhere but THERE!".  Needless to say my discretionary tip was on the low side - very low.  She was pissed and I told her why.  She wasn't around long.  In fact, her page was down before I could even post a review.  No wonder.

This is not the definitive answer, but I've noticed a lot of girls have a differential for incall vs. outcall.  It could go either way.  Ladies who regularly do incall might charge extra for the travel time; outcall ladies sometimes charge extra to book a room for incalls.  That's the most common reason for variations that I've seen.

Then maybe there's a differential for prime time vs. off peak hours. Don't think I've ever noticed a variable rate with no information.  But the previous poster's suggestion is a good one.

Oh, and I guess you've learned that certain buzzwords in a message can touch a nerve with someone and send a thread waaaaay off topic.

Yes, I noticed that the discussion on your earlier post went off in a squirrelly direction.

Here's what I did in one situation. I told the provider I would bring X dollars (it worked out to roughly two+ hours) and offered that she could decide how long she wanted to stay.

That might be one way to get around having to negotiate.

I have never negotiated or quibbled with any rate a provider quoted me.  But I have specified to relatively unknown, or not profusely reviewed, providers, that those services that I required are as non-negotiable as their rates.

Oh, sorry, guess I didn't finish my story. She stayed about three hours as I remember.
