if you provide the after round entertainment.... I'm in...

a shower and a hot dog....

I went golfing for the first time today and had a ball!  Who knew it could be so enjoyable and relaxing?  LOL.  Hope I get to go much more in the future.  Matter of fact- I am considering offering golfing dates in addition to lunch/dinner dates.  I can’t think of a more enjoyable way to spend an afternoon getting to know someone!

Would you be interested in seeing a provider for a round of golf?  I know I'd like to score a hole in one after getting my butt kicked on the green.

Which reminds me- what would you consider to be an average score for a first time golfer?  Triple bogey?  Just curious- my partner assured me I did very well for a newbie but I am a skeptic ;)

XO
Melanie

I love golf and would very much love a golf date with a provider. The very first time I ever went golfing I shot a 73 on a 9 hole course. Equivalent of a score of 146 on an 18 hole round. Right now, after playing off and on for about 3 years, I am down to about 110 for a round of 18.

I know I am not very good, but I love the thinking part of golf, trying to figure out what shot to make. I usually make just one good shot in every round and that makes me want to play again.

This is a very good idea, Melanie. Golfing is fun, and the little side betting can lead to really fun times later.

LOL....Melanie, all it takes is that perfect drive and you're hooked.

I remember the first time I went to play golf. My boss at the time talked me into, and frankly..I hated it for the first 7 holes. Then on the 8th hole I hit THE PERFECT DRIVE right off the tee...straight, about 280 yards, sailed through the air in a perfect arc. I could just feel it in every inch of my body that I hit the ball just right. I was hooked right from then...and it's been 11 years that I've been trying to repeat that feeling, like a heroin addict chasing that first high. Right now..I figure I can shoot high 90's if I really focused.

As far as a golf date...count me in as long as it's game of skins...hehehe. Come to Boston area...we have some of the best courses in the country.

Because she was s friend, there was no "nineteenth hole" activities, but it was enjoyable anyway.

Ellyse Taylor from Miami, offers a golf outing.
I am hoping to take advantage of that offer one of thses days.

So, yes, there is a great interst in that type of offer.

You're right, spending an afternoon on the course with someone is a great "get to know you" experience and is great fun.

Just my opinion...

for a first timer. That is the true beauty of golf. It just takes one good shot to get you hooked.

I've worked my way down to a 9 handicap but I had just as much fun as when I was a 19.

One of my favorite quotes of all times comes from ex-basketball star Charles Barkley. "Sex and golf are the only two things you can do poorly and still have a great time!"

I think that offering a golf date is a great idea.  I too like to be creative with my "packages/services" and like to offer custom dates.  I have been golfing and agree that it is a great way to get to know someone in somewhat casual and fun way.

Just my $.50

Smooches,

I can't begin to imagine what I would pay for that.  Anyone have any thoughts?

I would think anywhere between $750 and $1,500 including private time.

I know several ladies who offer 9 holes of golf and then desert afterwards.  But, I don't play golf so I have no experience with this type of date.

You must have been doing something wrong.  8o)
