My first reaction is to spend it with the providers and here's why:

I actually get to rationalize that I'm seeing providers as "doing the Lord's work"

I get to order "the works" from each provider without having to worry about maxing out the ATM card (after all, God's treat, right?)


Whereas the wife would undoubtedly occupy that hour with things like:

"I told you to go to church more often!  Now see what you've done- You're leaving me alone with all this mess to deal with!  Who is going to clean up the garage LIKE I ASKED LAST YEAR??  And look at my ass, will you?  Who the hell is going to want me with an ass like this?  I married you so I wouldn't have to be out in the market and I could let myself go ... now you just take off to Heaven leaving me here with my fat ass and all those stupid men out there!  God you are such a coward ....   And what am I going to tell my mother? She TOLD me not to marry you and now I'm going to here "I told you so" for the rest of my life!"

wait ... in thinking about it .... spending the last hour listening to the wife may be the way to go ..... it would make me look foward to death .......

I'm not sure how you face the world every day, but it must be very scary for you.

It's not stupid. It's actually pretty deep. It's geared to make you think. If you have been terminally ill or had an accident in your life, you will know what I'm talking about. Your life flashes before your eyes and you know what is truly important. You also think of the happy times in your life. This question keys into your priorities. The men who say their wives, have this hobby in perspective and basically have a good family life. The married gents that say their ATF or a provider, either have a troubled marriage or this hobby way out of proportion.

For single or unattached guys, this question does not apply. I would think they would spend time with their families or kids. And if they have no family, friends or kids, then they should certainly being hanging with their ATF.
