Ladies... Do you blog on your website and why or why not...

Guys... Do you read that stuff...

Might as well throw in a personal opinion since it is my post. I don't read them and the few times I have tried I regretted it. Don't hold it against anyone just never did anything for me. More pics!

I don't blog on my own website, but I have come across a few that were really interesting, either for the advice they gave or the topics they brought up. These weren't a girls "work blog", though, but independent and just kind of our there to be found.

I am not a fan of the ones that are only around to complain. That's best for twitter. I don't mind a sharp quip, but I don't want to read a cranky diatribe.

I do blog. I do it because I've always loved writing and I viewed this as a finite adventure that was worthy of documenting through words. I just wish I had more time to do it.

You are a really good writer, and it really enjoy the window into who you are.

I would never use my blog to complain about clients, though, that's just super unprofessional. I will rave, though.

A few clients have commented about reading my blog and it actually cinching their decision to see me: apparently, I'm funny. :)

I obviously post pictures, too. I'm a part of the selfie generation, after all.

I have far too much reading for work already.  You have to have some highly entertaining or highly relevant/meaningful content to get my attention.  Simply haven't found they yet in this circle...

I do follow a few hobby related folks on twitter

I'm interested in their experiences and their perspective. For girls I've met, I fell like blogs (or twitter or an active board presence for that matter) help me understand them a bit better. For girls I haven't met, it helps me get a more three dimensional picture of what they're all about, which is important to making a booking decision. I won't typically book girls based on ads only. Doesn't matter how hot they are

I don't always have the free time (or enthusiasm in some cases) to participate, and blogging is a great alternative. It's also a great way to keep long distance friends updated on what's going on in my life and any future travel plans I may have, and I almost always post a new photo with each blog post.

Let's face it, they have one hell of an exciting life, and hearing about their exploits and their take on matters, sexual or otherwise, is a turn on to me.  It helps break the ice also since I'll have something in common when we meet.

I don't think a blog of my professional life would do as well.  (So I returned a phone call to the pain in the ass and told me we'd send someone over as the part arrive, which I've been telling him every day for the past week....)

I guess the reviews serve more or less as a forum for our hobby lives.

By the way, Cosette's blog is phenomenal.

ow! Am I ever in the minority. Great responses. How about pics on your blogs maybe then I would be interested. Only kidding.

I'm working on one; however, it won't be tied to my escort name.

If I put one on my site...wtf am I supposed to write about? Not my real life...too indiscreet. Girls who think that nobody they know in real life will EVER read that sh*** should think again. So am I supposed to write about my dates? Breaches privacy...and kind of ruins the fantasy for the guys. I could write about general topics I find interesting...but again, what if someone who knows me were to recognize my viewpoint/turns of phrase from conversations we had? Having personal writing tied to one's escort name isn't worth the risk, IMO

urge is too intense not to let it go. mmmmm. usually something about sex, the hobby, or there abouts.

Seems like a gal thinks it'll be a new way to market herself and create buzz...but most seem to have a post or three and that's that.  If you look at them the last entry was a year or more ago.

For those that do update them it seems like it's simply cutting and pasting articles from other sources.

I prefer to PM/email with a gal that I find interesting.  I've made some very nice friends that way.  As well it's much more personable to have a chat in that regard versus the generic blog crap.

Entertaining is not a good enough word..
I was.. Affected. Changed?
Ahh.. Gobsmacked!

Sometimes the random nobody is really talented..

So yeah. I look for blogs all of the time...
Sex is just one of many fascinating subjects people write about.

I appreciate the information put out.  I get a feel for the depth, intelligence, likes, dislikes, desires of the ladies.  Call me silly, but I'm concerned more with what is between the ears and behind the eyes, than between the legs or under the chin.   It's what makes the difference between a $100 rub n' tug, and $300+/hr multi-hour adventure to be cherished.

I would imagine that it could be a place for an escort to gently impart things that make a session better. To identify a certain type of guy and to gently dissuade him from contacting her, or to tell these types that she is not a good match.

Better than coming on here ranting about how horrible most guys kiss. She could use the blog to indicate how she likes to be kissed for a better experience all round. Yeah the worst kissers won't care but she might at least make a few listen up.

But what is a blog exactly?

public personal diary... and I'm probably older than you :)

oh.. and in spite of the dufus from Chicago's contention, some blogs are interesting... Cosette's being a shining example...

There's always a few who like to waste time on that crap.  Maybe start one of your own and then you too can create works of fiction.

Or are you afraid no one has any interest in your daily struggles in life?

Between Tumblr and WordPress the # of blogs out there is close to 150 million, and those who read them would hardly say it's a waste of time. At best they're informative, I follow some in industries that get very technical and written by experts in fields. At worst they're plain entertainment, but even those are probably better than tabloids

I am aware of many blogs that actually make money for the writers.  But then those types of blogs aren't of the "diary" version.

The blogs the gals write are self-serving designed to create buzz.  In some cases it works...other cases it clearly shows a woman who is in trouble...and one to stay VERY far away from.  If your blog is generating buzz and johns...then it is indeed paying off.  Let us know when Dave76015 and LoboGris set up an appointment  LOL

As I told JLS I prefer the one on one chats...I find those much more entertaining and informative.

I totally get your cynicism, and I would like to think someone with half a brain can distinguish between self serving and not.

If you look for them there are plenty of escorts who have chosen to speak their mind on a blog.

that no one is interested in the daily boredom of an old fat white guy from a white middle class background... as for struggles, I have none..

for someone down on blogs, you have certainly created your own with incessant posting of drivel on the GD... I'm sure your total body of work exceeds any hooker's web page blog by an order of magnitude..

You still amuse me bookkeeper... but I'm easily amused.. keep 'em coming, it relieves the daily boredom..

You bet you're easily amused.  But considering you're a simple mind it certainly doesn't take much to amuse you.

When you evolve we can actually try and delve deeper into topics.  For now I'll stick with the really easy ones for you so I don't lose your attention  LOL

nfortunately they are ineffective as I really don't give a rat's ass what some over the hill ex-jock trying to create that BMOC persona that eluded him in high school and college on an out of the way fuckboard corner of the internet thinks... (how's that for a run on sentence)...

the Reader's Digest version is you can't insult me if I don't give a fuck and I don't give a fuck..

a personal website on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis.

There's fashion blogs, music blogs, basically any industry. They are virtual diaries and they can either be hosted on a site or on a blog site like Blogger or WordPress or like mine is on Tumblr.

Way back in the late 80's/early 90's when Netscape Navigator ran supreme, every week you got an AOL disc in the mail,  and RAM was measured in MB increments, weblogs started up and gained in popularity.  Subscribe with a service provider and get 1 or 2 MB of data space.  Basically hi-tech semi-public diary.  Don't even think about putting pictures up on them due to space issues.
