You should take your shoes and socks off at the from t door when you walk in.
I used to only have ppl take off the shoes.
But it sounds like both since socks would be prone to picking up hairs.
Or you could shake your socks as I have seen ppl do before they put them on.

I used to ask ppl before they left if the were single or attached and or I always inspected ppl before they left.

Sometimes ppl get in a hurry and want to leave without there hair right or not looking the same as when they came in ( a little disheveled ) but I don't allow ppl to leave without hair in place and looking put back together.
I do a hair check I search them before they leave and then they take off before my hair can try to hitchhike on them.

Don't you mean someone else found a hair or are you the wife?

that informs the world including LE you are working out of your home and that brings on a whole nother set of charges.
Operating an illegal business out of a residence IS a felony.
They can take your home have you evicted and lock you out of your place.
AND if you have children even if they are not there at the time of an appt just the fact that they live there will briing another set of problems.
Ladies who work out of their home with chilren living there are playing with fire.
