A provider from years ago moved due to LE knowledge. She says her new neighbors all know what she does, so nobody bothers her in the new pad. This is a red flag, yes?

I think what she means is that her MALE neighbors know what she does.  The wives probably don't, and therein lies any potential risks.  I have found that wives are seldom appreciative of the convenience of having a provider right in their own neighborhood.  

Yeah and  they probably  keep wifey running erands , if you know what I mean.  

I would definitely say NO!!!!!!

"Hey, we know you're going in there to see a hooker."  Unless they see you exchange money for sex, there's nothing they can do about it except try to hassle you.  For all they know, you're going to play parcheesi with her.  You can ignore them and not answer them, or you can tell them to fuck off.
