I have worked in retail ops and management for decades, and have spent WAAAAYYYY too many holiday seasons working in a store of some kind.

When the Christmas music starts the day after Turkey Day and you have to listen to it for 8 hours (or MORE) per day, 5 or 6 days a week....well, it gets old really quickly.

I needed to explain to the (now ex) wife and subsequent GFs that, after listening to that stuff all day at work, the LAST thing I wanted to hear was more of it at home.

Rant over...thanks for listening! ;)
