A mystery worthy of Perry Mason (okay, Paul Drake).

I've tried on three separate occasions to buy the Oct. '85 Playboy, which features CYNTHIA BRIMHALL, on Ebay.   The auction is always cancelled. I think I've figured out why.   What do you folks think is the reason?

my initial guess would be...

that they are being listed in the wrong category. eBay has an itchy trigger finger when it comes to anything adult oriented. What is the reason you think you have figured out?

Several of those have been running for several days without being cancelled and it's very unlikely they will be. eBay will make you log in to view the adult section, then you'll have to click the link or paste it in again to get to the actual item. We wouldn't want to make it EASY for adults to buy adult related things, now would we?

She's the star of the Vegas show 'Skintight,' which is also the subject of a reality show on the tube...Nearly famous maybe?

I actually say the show last Sept. on my honeymoon...entertaining enough, but not great, and definitely not worth the scrach it cost for the tix. OTOH, wifey liked it more than I did, so it wasn't time lost.

How exactly this relates to The Case Of The Missing Magazine® I'm not sure of, but there you go.

One of my reliable sources (the shoeshine guy in the alley) told me that

there was a picture of Traci Lords, 15 yrs. old at the time, in that issue and that they're pulled as soon as they show up.  Anyway, I'll try those other eBay links and see what happens.  Thanks for the info. and there's a five-spot in it for you.
