'Tis the Season-Gifts?

It's always been my experience in business that the person SELLING goods and or services is the one giving Xmas gifts, and the person BUYING said goods and/or services is the one receiving them.

Damn, does this mean I need to give my accountant, attorney, butcher, baker, candlestick maker, a gift as well???

I have a question for the ladies, what do you plan on giving your regulars this year???

Gentlemen, what type of gifts are you giving your regulars? Cash, gift cards or something more personal? And how much? The cost of a session or a percentage of that? Ladies, what do you prefer?

your hair dresser, your landscaper, your maid, your newspaper delivery person & your mailman. But most certainly the service provider that gives you the most pleasure...whichever that one is for you. For me, hands down, it's the ladies!

I make a donation to charity in their name. An email gets sent to them (at their hobby email) with a little Thank You message. It's something that doesn't need to be shown or explained to a questioning wife.

For one with whom I sometimes exchange music, I've been poking about for something he might like...to be gifted via iTunes. For another, I'm getting him a book he'll love.

If any x-mastime dates come up with semi-regulars I haven't seen for a while...probably either treats (chocolate-covered coffee beans from a high-end chocolate shop) or wine.

It is affordable ($100-200) and is easy to hide if that is a concern and easy to bring to them and for them to take home if they are traveling.

They seem to like it a lot too, which is the important thing.

One or two gals have even done photos wearing a piece I gave them.  That makes me feel very good.

The other nice thing about jewelry is that while they enjoy receiving it, I'm the one who then gets to look at it.  That's a win/win.

Of course not all gals can accept jewelry.  I see a few UTR gals who have SOs, and they would be at a loss to explain who gave them a piece of jewelry.  For one of those gals I bring a good bottle of Champagne.  The other seems to always love nice leather gloves, so I get her a pair of those.

I too receive gifts from several gals.  One brings me festive decorations for my home (I'm a bachelor now.), and another gets me interesting books on subjects like trivia and language origins.  Some get me gift certificates to restaurants we go to.

I enjoy the whole institution of gifting when the presents are heartfelt and reflect our knowledge of each others' interests.  It's not a chore, but a labor of love.

Complete outfit
Leggings, if you like that
Shoes

I'm medium in size, or size six.
size 8 1/2 shoes lol.

Or a gift card to Fredericks of Hollywood for me to pick your request up for our next appointment. :D

I gave a provider clothing, but it was really a gift for me. If she likes it (she said she did, but you know how women lie), then she can wear it when she goes out on the town.

Do it have to be a selling vs buying??

Why why why do you sound like a broken record with so much complaining?

If you don't agree with something, is it possible to once. Just once... Skip over it! You will see that it will not ruin your life. In fact, getting involved in less negativity will actually improve your life!

I buy gifts for people that I like to buy gifts for. It has nothing to do with if I purchase things from them.. Or anything. I enjoy giving gifts.

To get back on this specific topic : I got my ATF a montlhy k cup delivery to his office and I took my favorite lady to a concert and we had a nice dinner beforehand. :)

This the season!

Usually cute baked goods and/or toys. Once in a while I'll take 'em to Greece (not normally on the 'menu', and I don't upcharge).

from both my business customers and escorts. For escorts usually gift cards and for my business customers wine/liquor.  I get from business customers, tickets to sporting events, booze, free nights at hotels, and from escorts, cologne, baked goods and dinner out.

I think its super sweet when my friends brings gifts. It is never a requirement.

For those who are local or visiting just seeing me is enough for the holidays.

Right now this snow is not helping business. :-(

If someone cannot get to me right at the moment and wishes to get me a GreenDot Moneypak (loaded with any amount) I always appreciate it. They are found at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Dollar General, 7-11 etc. by the gift cards. Just grab the green piece of cardboard and take it to the cashier. Tell her what amount  you want to apply on it. I just need the numbers under the scratch off on the back (or on the receipt). If you have any ?'s just ask the cashier or send me a message.

It helps pay bills, buy groceries, etc.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

My favorite gifts would be to get a text or call from my atf's saying "come over for a free toss in the sack or a free blow job to show you my appreciation for all the money you have given me this year"

Bah humbug!! I hope that wasn't anybody's reaction.

You wouldn't believe it but...I've actually BEEN to that diner. Not because of Seinfeld, but because I just...went. A few times (it sucks and the waitresses really are that mean). Hehe.

In my case, the charity is actually real...they send an e-card to whatever address I specify. The client can see that it actually comes from the site.

I got it as a gift once and was actually kind of touched. I figured that it's something I can give that doesn't necessitate any awkward explanations.

Plus, (I feel) it conveys to him that I think he'd be happy to give to a good cause...in other words, that I think he's a good person.

But maybe I should stick to cookies. LOL.

Wow...how classy.

I wasn't begging by any means. I was just answering a question.

As for my body type, there are plenty of guys who LOVE my curves. My reviews are very positive. And FYI, I hate twinkies. Yuck.

I frequently give specials to my regular friends and those that do something special for me always get rewarded with extra time or services I don't offer to just anyone.

That is called being thankful and appreciative, something that has kept me in business for many years.

i have given gifts, sizable tips, even used to bring flowers to my dates...  w/o exception, i never even got an acknowledgement, let alone a thank you.  i wasn't looking for extra time for the extra $$$ in tips, but maybe a "oh thank you baby" with a wet kiss and a squeeze you-kniw-where, just to let me know the fift was appreciated.

so now i don't give any more than the envelope, my respect, my good hygiene, my company and mr. happy, which is not unsubstantial.  that's the contract and that's what she gets.

I do not participate in corporate brain washing and greed.

Pure Commercial Greed. Soon Christmas is going to start on Dec 1. What is the point?

For a client to bring a provider some little token for the Holiday.  I would never expect anything, but I have had clients bring me little gifts like fancy chocolate or hand lotions, etc...and it made the experience feel much more upscale and "well mannered".  It is the difference between being treated like a courtesan vs. a hooker (a word that offends me personally if guys use it to refer to what I do).  Likewise, the providers could find someway to ring in the Christmas spirit (I am planning on shopping for some festive lingerie for example, and maybe baking some little treats to give clients visiting around that time).    The littlest things can make visits more memorable...playing nice music, having candles lit, etc.  You don't have to buy her diamonds, but even putting your donation in a cute card, shows that you want to make an effort to make your provider feel as special as she is.

Since this is my first holiday season on TER, I don't have any expectations. The other day I had a date, I was given a bottle of Patron. He had read my post about Patron and the great mood it put me in!!;)  A simple gift, but special because he showed some interest/attention to what i wrote! But alcohol, cash, gift card, etc... Any gift would be very much appreciated.
