Most of my clients at least on the first visit bring gifts..

I have a few that will occasionaly bring me little sweet things. It really is the thought that counts...

The best gift. was my IPOD..
but.. I must say.. goodies from the garden rock!
Candles
Car wash gift cards
Lowes home improvement gift cards are good too.
Even a simple bottle of wine...

Most unusual? I think would be the plastic flowers...

I usually bring something based upon her web site or her posts or our conversations.  It's a good way to get the session off on a good foot, it shows her I had enough interest in her to actually read her site (which implies I probably read the rest of it), and it helps a lot with references later on.

"Hpw will she remember you"

"I'm the guy who brought her the stuffed elephant in a thong"

With memory joggers like that she usually remembers me even if it's been a while.

Just curious, since I checked all your reviews and there was no mention of any gifting in any of your reviews.

Or, are you just blowing smoke again? I guess those 9 would not be good references since as you say the gift "helps a lot with references later on."

Most reviews I have inspected remark of there was a gift, as the gent is rather proud of that, as he should be.

I show up showered and polite.  I don't short the envelope, largely because I don't ever use an envelope.  I also repeat with ladies that give me the level of performance that I pay for.

Once, a lady actually brought me a gift.  Other times, they just told me that they liked me and that I could pay less in the future.

Maybe 1 in 5 clients brings a gift.  Candles, chocolate, CD's, books, lingerie, fruit/veggies from the garden, wine... I appreciate all of these lovely little things, most will contribute positively to the time we are planning to share together!

The most unusual gift that I have been given was an LCD programmable hand held fan that displays a message when you turn it on.  

The best gift?  Mmmmmm.   That's a tough call.  I'm going to have to vote for the sheet of haiku poetry written after my dog died.  It's not the dollars that make gifts memorable and most valuable to me...

Do you just not like him? or is it something more?

When I give a gift or tip it is never mentioned in my reviews.

Why not?

Because it's nobody's effing business.

It would be embarrassing for both parties if what you brought was significantly too large or small.

The best and most unusual gift I got was a brand new beautiful bed delivered the day after a client..broke mine...haha.
