He got this and other advice on the other board but I guess the OP was looking for something else.  I'm not sure what else there is to say.  I think it's a first-timer's lack of self-confidence, which I so understand.  But at a certain point one just needs to take the plunge and see what happens.  There's just no "hobbyists guide to handling a first session."  You need to nicely tell her what you want.
