Getting Deposit Back

In May of 2021 I sent a provider a deposit of over $400 per her website instructions so I could have a session with her when she visited Nashville. She is a very highly regarded provider, she has several great reviews here.

She canceled her Nashville trip due to not having enough bookings in advance. She emailed me she said oils return to Nashville later in the year.

Last August I saw on Tryst she was scheduled again for Nashville. She emailed me to book a time. I did.

The week of the appointment I sent her an email to verify that we were still on. I got no response from her. Crickets.

The day of the appointment I tried emailing her again to see which hotel I should go to to meet her and still got no response.

A few days later she finally got around to returning my email and told me she didn’t come to Nashville after all, she had two bookings but one of them canceled and so she didn’t come for just one appointment.

I asked her about the deposit and she said she hadn’t forgotten and she would make plans to come back to Nashville as soon as she could.

In October she emailed me to let me know she was going to be in Nashville the third week of December. I booked a time with her.

A couple of weeks later she emailed me she was moving it to January, the 10th and 11th. I booked a time.

Oops, she changed it AGAIN. On Tryst I saw her dates for Nashville were now the second week of February. I emailed her and rebooked a time.

Guess what? A couple of days ago I saw she replaced Nashville with another city and has Nashville listed as “TBA.”

I emailed her asking about this and she said the flight cancellations due to Covid have caused her to have to change her schedule.

I don’t know if this is legitimate or not, but now I’m in limbo and don’t know when or if she’s even coming to Nashville and she still has my $400.

I have asked her for it back but she insists she’ll come to Nashville soon.

This seems sketchy since she keeps canceling her Nashville dates.

With that $400 I could see a lot of other beautiful providers in Nashville.

calling her out by name on here for starters. Maybe that'll light a fire under her ass to give you your deposit back.

She’s hoping that you'll just go away because I suspect that your deposit has been spent a long time ago or else she'd have given it back to you by now.

This is the EXACT reason why I will not pay a deposit or provide prepayment for ANY dates anymore. Too many "reputable" providers going rogue these days.

Instead of providers always bashing clients for not wanting to pay deposits, maybe they should direct that hateful energy towards the providers who pull this shit which is the EXACT reason why clients don't want to pay deposits. Fix the issues in their own house first.

I would cut your losses and block her from ever contacting you. It's obvious that she's playing games. You should email me at [email protected]

Unless a miracle occurs, I don't see any possible way you'll ever get your money back. If she was even the slightest interested in repaying you, She would have done it by now. The sole legitimate part of her excuses might be the 2022 flight cancellations due to COVID, but that's a recent problem, not dating back to the beginning of your saga. It gives her a current way out of paying you back, but if her another new excuse pops up, stick a fork in this one, because it's way past done.

You've given a great write-up for the anti-deposit crowd, though. Has your experience taught you to join those ranks?

Out her on the boards.. Post her name in  every white space you can see..

And hopefully, lesson learned..  That's why I am so against doing deposits.. There is no recourse.

Consider it lost
Would continue to schedule if she posts Nashville and maybe someday will have enough prebooking Sri actually show up there. You money no longer counts except as a freebie as it has long been spent.
Similar to an in store credit with the store”closed”
At work we had a saying “ them that has the old makes the rules”
Keep all correspondence and soon name her.

Why would he block her from contacting him, and in the process kill any slim chance there might be of recovering his money..

And what good is going to come out of him emailing you?

First, I NEVER give a deposit, regardless of how "reputable" a provider is, not ever. It's BS for a number of reasons.

In any case, how to move forward in my mind depends on how you made the deposit. I'd love to say you should give her 48 hours to refund your deposit or let her know you're going to go public with her unprofessional and dishonest behavior if it's not returned within that timeframe. That said, if the deposit was electronically, I'd just hope for the best but write it off as a loss. I say that because if there's a paper trail she probably has your personal info, in which case she is likely to call you a liar and out you on all the hooker boards. This might not be a big deal to you, but if you have a SO or a job you give a shit about, it could be trouble.

report her to them. They take a dim view of any kind of unprofessional behavior.

And as others have recommended, tell her if she hasn’t refunded your deposit within a reasonable period (like 48 hours), you’ll out her on this board and her local board, and you’ll write a “rip-off” review of her—because if she won’t refund your deposit after all this time and several requests, she’s definitely ripped you off.  You don’t have to have actually seen her since money exchanged hands.

If you have never seen the lady before sending a deposit is a big mistake. It can be a mistake even if you have seen her more than once before -- not sure which is your case. The only time you should be spending money in advance should be in some FMTY situation. If she is a touring provider asking for deposits I have to say that indicates to me she does not expect to generate much business (or is really bad with her own money management, another sign to tread with care IMO) and want's to shift that risk to others. For me that's a good signal to pass.

Not sure why you're not naming who it was. You should.

She needs to return it and take Nashville off her list. This is why I don't take deposit because I don't want to have to keep track of them! I understand they are sometimes necessary because so many time wasters but by now she should have returned it. She has no right to keep it.

This is actually good advice.  I've heard of P411 taking up a monger's case with a provider.  They (at least in the old days) don't want to be known for hosting rip-offs.

I mean is she that different then what Nashvill has to offer. I get that you want to get your deposit back and I hate to break it to you, put you ain't seeing shit of that so forget about it. I'd blast her ass here but you seem like a nice guy who plays nice, so it's all good, but mom o man.
Lesson for the class, and I hate to say it but no chick is worth sending a deposit for....that's just me so hate on.

to avoid this.   It's tough to get money back out of touring girls and paying a deposit far in advance just invites getting burned.  If you want to see a touring girl coming to Nashville, then wait until two or three days before her arrival, or even after she arrives, which is my own preference.  First, confirm that she is still coming, and if it's "yes", request the appointment.  Since she is already committed to be there, she may agree to waive the deposit in order to get an additional session during her visit.  I've done it on a few occasions and had good success avoiding the deposit altogether.  If they push back, I just say something like,  "It's day after tomorrow.  You have my number and can harass me for the next ten years if I don't show.  If you want to pass on two hours because I'm not giving you a deposit, it's your call."

Some girls will let you know they have available session times by posting something on the regional board, like, "I'm visiting Nashville, and would appreciate some restaurant recommendations.  This usually means she is there, or else only a few days away from arriving, and is NOT fully booked yet.   If there are other escort boards in your area, check them all.

This is a longshot, but if you are going to be in her home town on business or pleasure, ask to see her there to redeem your deposit for Nashville.  Odds are she will ghost you, but for $400, it's worth a try.  If you're like me, you would rather still get the pussy than the money back, and it's an easy way for her to make it right without having to EVER come to Nashville.  Same idea applies to other towns she may be touring to.

I went through a similar issue but I outed the provider against the advise of many yet if not then provider will continue this ritual and we all lose. Not sure of your reluctance to name provider yet with you being secretive about who she is if your going to complain at least name who she is. If unable to then quit complaining. Sounds rude but the board is to promote the good and out the bad. We’re waiting.

This is essentially a r0bjob. She took your money and is trolling you, and most likely others

I don't think theres a way to get your money back at this point, unfortunately. Only if she suddenly decides to have a change of heart.

What you could do is prevent others from falling into the same trap and make sure her online rep gets this r0b embedded.

You are doing everyone here and yourself a disservice by keeping her name quiet and letting her keep getting away with this.  Nashville is a booming city and she can make $ there but seems to want all the $ before and not wanting to put in the time and work.

you can do is work to get your deposit back.

Contact her and request it back immediately. If she waffles in any way, let her know you will put her on blast.

I doubt you will get it back, it is sure she has spent it.

Out her behavior here, on Twitter, on every hobby board if she does not send your deposit back!!

The women always say how reputable providers do not do this... we need facts to show that is not true!!

I hinted about a provider years ago (under a different name) and others guessed who she was, then she proceeded to out ME to everyone, every where and cost me everything.. divorce, even custody of my kids ..  I'd never encourage anyone to out an escort who has any personal info on you..

I'm a provider and I agree with everything you said. I knew providers were doing scams like this but I didn't realize this was still happening on TER. It's good that we have a community so we can call out scammers on either end.

I'm one of the rare providers who doesn't take deposits. I don't want the paper trail and I also I think it makes it easier to be flexible if a gentleman needs to cancel the date. It also makes tours much easier.

I'm doing another DC tour next month and 2 other tours in the following months. It would be tedious to keep track of every tour deposit, especially if there's a last minute cancelation.

Related but different story —- have my own getting conned episode when I was starting out. This is like a decade ago. I picked out this super hot “Eros verified “ model and made an appointment via text . Everything seemed legit and on the up and up

I drive up to the area near the Grove in LA and parked in a strip mall (per her instructions) and texted her. She said for her security she will send a friend of hers to check my ID and collect the session $ and then that friend will escort me (she will ride w me in my car) to her apartment . I was a bit perplexed but I was like what the heck , let’s give it a shot . So I give her my car info and her “friend “ shows up - it is this super hot chick in yoga pants smelling like heaven as she sat next to me in the passenger seat . At this point my brain passed control to the little guy down there w a raging hard on. The “friend “ pretended to check my id and I handed her the cash . All good so far and I am already dreaming about my session w “her “

We drove for a few blocks and arrived at a nice looking apartment complex . I park my car in guest parking area and the friend leads me inside the gates after punching the code . We then walk to one of the buildings and in the lobby she gives me the apartment number to go to . I ask if she is coming w me and she smiles and says “no she has to run some errands” . My scam radar went up here but at this point she already had my cash in her purse and the lobby was full of people so it’s not that I could make a scene w her . Anyways I head over to the elevator .

Walk to the apartment and I have this sinking feeling that I have been “had” . Ring the bell once . No response for minutes . Ring the bell again a couple of times . Nothing. It is clear that the apartment likely belongs to someone else. I texted the provider several times, call , again no response as expected .

W a sour mood I came back down to the lobby wondering if she is still around or in the parking area - of course she has disappeared. This expensive lesson cost me 300 bucks which was a lot of money for me back then.

Anyways after more than a decade into this, I now consider myself a veteran and have become much much better at weeding out the fluff  and optimizing the reward / risk ratio . In that context , Deposits ? Never ever

Hope you guys enjoy this story - I never felt so embarrassed or humiliated before in my life but this is what happens when you suspend all good judgement for lust  :)

I agree with those who say to name her on TER wherever you can.

It may affect her conduct in the future and influence other providers.

I am strongly opposed to deposits based on the risk of ripoff.

Revenge can be sweet, but sometimes it can cost everything.
.
When involved in illegal or taboo activities it is best to maintain a low profile.  It's like the example of the drug dealers who call the police to report someone stold their drugs stash.  Take the loss.
