...I use to have tons of problems with compatiblity issues, but they all magically went away when I upgraded to a PC.  If you are the brand name loyal type, you can now buy an "intel" Mac and run Windows on it.  New Macs are bacially a PC running the Mac OS packaged in a branded Mac shell.  So you can run Windows, but still look cool to that cute little barista behind the counter.  And on that rare occassion you miss the spinning rainbow pizza wheel of death thingy, you can always revisit the Mac OS.  The best of both worlds!

I'm trying to put up a site for a provider-friend and am having a hard time finding a hosting site with templates, etc.that doesn't have issues.

 Problems I've had are they aren't Mac-compatible, they don't allow revealing or X-rated shots, or they are soooooo slow to use the girl might die of old age before I get the site done.   I've tried Homestead and some others but most of their features can't be used with a Mac.

 Features I'd want are:
Home Page, Several Thumbnailed Gallery pages (clickable thumbnails), abiilty to track hits.  

This doesn't sound so hard and I see so many sites that do this.  Anyone can put me on to a site?  Note, this is a do-it-yourself project.  I don't need to engage a web designer.  Thanks

www.register.com has already made templates and I used them for almost 2 years and was very happy with them until I hired a professional web designer. They will host as well. I think you will be happy with them :)

they have great customer support, i've been with them 4 years and the coffee cup software rocks.

they still do allow adult content

i dont know about mac support

Try www.lunarpages.com; www.adulthosting.com; www.adultfriendlyhosting.com  Lunar pages used to allow adult content as well have tons of templates as part of the hosting package through Coffeecup Software.

Plus, if you have a problem with your Dell, you can call their customer service and talk to someone in Pakistan without even dialing long distance!!

They're really helpful; at least I think so.  It's just that I can't be certain, because I can't ever really understand a word they're saying.

I don't dislike anyone for the group that they were born into.  It really just disappoints me to have to deal with people that I can't communicate with.  It would be different if I decided to vacation in Pakistan...then it's on me to learn the local language & customs.

I've just spent too many hours on the phone with Dell customer service, saying "huh?"

Just to name a few. I know for sure that tiptopwebsites works with a Mac because when I used it, I had a dumb Mac hehehehe.  I agree with the others, please get a real computer LOL.
