The man was asking about products that may work better or add better protection from breakage not what you think about Greek activities or what medical advice should be sought. Anyway, Dear Valueadd, if you should find the need or desire to engage in the Greco activity again you may want to consider the purchase of some of the products on the market that are targeted to that activity. I believe the " roughrider" brand is one you may find helpful. They are merchandised in with all the others and providers may not have them with them as usual course or may be out of them at the time of your encounter. I agree , get tested, but if you want to dip in the highway again be prepared.

Recently a provider and I were going at it hard in Greek. It was lots of fun until I pulled out and realized that the condom had ripped. It surprised me because I was using a condom type that has never failed me during vaginal activities and the provider lubed up beforehand.

This experience has totally freaked me out. I never want to have a scare like this ever again. It takes the fun out of the hobby.

I know that Greek results in a tighter fit but I thought that lube was supposed to account for this. Does anyone have any tips on to reduce the risk of condom breakage? Should I take it easier when doing Greek? Are certain condoms better for Greek usage than other types? Am I missing anything?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the advice.  I'll look into using rough rider in the future.  Trojan just doesn't seem to get it done.

TrulyMsMocha, thank you as well.  It seems that one can never use too much lube.

MP67, no that was not me.

I dunno if certain condoms are better but I've pretty much always used trojan brand (magnum, magnum thin, ultra ribbed ecstasy) and have not had one break during greek even when things got really heavy. Also eh sometimes if you think you're using enough lube esp when going at it a ltitle crazy....use a little more :).

well not all types of condoms work 100% so next time if youre hitting it hard use extra lube shit mix it up jelly and water base at the same time just make sure its not to tight

During greek they have so far (for me)....no breaks yet.  I like astroglide gel (water based). I've heard liquid silk is good but yet to try it.

But mixing silicon base & water based lube is okay on latex?

we'd have bareback anal on occasion.  Not the wisest thing I ever did, but it happened.

First, in the future, remember you've got to put lube on the inside of the condom too (in the head area) or else your thrusting will break it.  So it's not just the outside that needs to be lubed.  Also, the thin type condoms just won't hold up to anal sex.  You didn't seem worried about exposure to infection, so maybe the rip didn't expose the head.  But if it did...

Second, if you do break the condom, try to urinate immediately afterwards.  There's no guarantee, but there's a chance you will flush out any infection.

Third, if you start having any sort of symptoms such as a discharge, burning during urination, the urge to pee, or even one that I had that was great, but not healthy- a super amount of cum that kept going and going like Peter North.  That last one is actually a sign that the infection had gotten to the prostate.

If you start getting symptoms of this type, go immediately to a doctor and be honest about what you were doing- you were having anal sex (with your GF) and the condom broke.  This will help him get you on the right sort of antibiotics.

These symptoms usually start within a day or two, and after 4 or 5 days, you don't need to be a doctor to know there's something wrong.

Like I said, back then we either didn't know or were too horny to care, but now I do know better and I take any sort of infection that could lead to prostate problems very seriously.

#1 Is lubing the inside necessary if I'm already using a lubricated condom? What about slippage? I don't want the condom coming off.

Should I just plan on using 1/2 a bottle of lube each time I engage in this? Is there such a thing as using too much lube?

#2 Urinated ASAP afterward.

#3 I'm getting tested as soon as I can. Would a regular STD test be ok to have?  Or are you talking about an infection that STD tests don't pick up?  Sorry if I'm sounding dim here.  I'm just a little confused.

Thank you in advance.

Lubed condoms are typically only lubed on the outside.  Even for vaginal sex, a little lube on the inside at the tip will improve sensitivity and reduce the chance of breakage.  But you don't want to get the lube on the area shaft, though, or slippage could be a problem.

It's always a good idea to keep an eye on the condom during anal sex anyway, just because it might tend to pull off and need to be repositioned.

I was referring to the type of infection that is the result of being exposed to the natural bacteria that lives in the lower bowel.  This type of bacteria will still be present even if your partner gave herself an enema prior to engaging in anal sex.  As a result, you have a much higher chance of getting that sort of infection than an STD simply because that type of bacteria is present 100% of the time, whereas an STD is much less likely.

To put it in perspective, I got an infection two of the first three times I had unprotected anal sex.  This sort of information wasn't readily available back in the 70's and I learned the hard way.

Since we're on the subject, when porn actors perform anal sex without a condom, it's because the women give themselves one or more enemas using an antibacterial solution.  One of the products is called betadyne, if I remember correctly.  It's not specifically made for enemas, but can be used at some dilution level.  Doctors use it for many other uses.  There may be some off the shelf product by now, but I don't know for sure.

For a regular person, it's much safer to use a condom because you don't know your partner's history and if she's been tested for STD's.  And even if she has, the test doesn't mean anything if she's had other partners between the test and when she saw you.
